well.... I do it exactly like the video, only I roll them inside out most of the time... (so I put the paper upside down with the glue towards me, roll it, then I check where the glue is, I lick it through the paper and rip off the rest, so that I smoke like a third of the paper that you'd smoke normally, which tastes better and it's more smooth)
i tried doing a blunt once.. i dont understand what happened, i thought i could just buy a 'blunt wrap' but it was this soft moist thing that just fell apart when i tried to roll with it... i had no idea what i was doing but logically i thought a blunt wrap would be the wrap of a blunt, not some flavoured slow burning moist thing. ...
FLORIS, you are bang on mate.! That's how I roll my joints, but I usually, instead of ripping off the excess paper, I set light to it. This technique is the proper way to roll a joint as your smoking less paper. I learnt this technique of rolling in an Amsterdam coffee shop from a Dutch guy, btw.
i roll pretty good joints and blunts, some people gave me onters a couple years back and i jsut kinda adapeted them into my style, i do somthign diferently but i still roll a nice joint/ blunt..i only use zen hemp papers, or black death , and true blunt wraps or platinum wraps
can you guys share a little more on how you roll? I was hoping to have some instructions listed and different techniques for those who can't roll. The video is good. I honestly roll really shitty.
the same way as floris and nemisis ( except i got shown in a mini bus by an mc on the way to cornwall - not quite as nice a location as amsterdam! ). its the only way really, you dont wanna smoke more paper than you have to. and i always roll with the roach in first, some people roll without it and stick it in after - buts thats just plain wrong! headymoe if i can work out how to take pics of myself skinning up i'll do you a tutorial
What i do is once i have all the bud in the paper i like to mold the bud into the shape of joint. I do this by going back and forth with my thumb and fingers with the paper, forgive me if im being vague, its kind of hard to explain and easier to show in real life. Once the weed is all ready and molded, i roll that sucker up nice and tight. What i do is stick the roach in after wards, from now on though im gonna practice rolling with the roach in there. Twist the end paper that you burn off and voila... Smoking time. Hope I could be of some help.
i hadn't really thought that through - how are you supposed to take pictures of your own hands rolling? ... how do you hold the camera!? so excuse the missings pics for now ... but the one to notes number 3, the backwards roll bit as described by floris and nemisis - because the glue is on the outside you can just tear or burn all the excess paper away 1 - find a clever butterfly to look after the plants. heres mine sorry you can't borrow him, he's busy 2 - everything you need 3 - the backwards roll 4 - good afternoon everyone, i have finished work for the day
i never understood internet tutorials. i just had to see someone do it in real life then worked it out. Observe people who can roll and learn from them
see, ive tried that, and ive been taught so many times, but i just never get the knack. hence why i love bubbles my bong
I just roll a joint like chong does(lol not the quarter pound ones) I can roll pretty good ones too, i cant roll a blunt for shit tho, the paper comes apart no matter how much I lick it, im just not skilled in the blunt rolling area.
Even though my opinion doesn't matter, it sounds like most of the people having problems rolling blunts seem to only buy the actual "blunt wraps". Next time you want to roll a blunt, but actual cigars like Phillie or something and just empty it out and try rolling w/ that, it's so much easier, even though it my not sound like it......and if you have tried and it doesn't work, then you better keep that piece.
european style is the only way to go: cone-shaped, rolled inside out, and burn off the excess paper. and don't forget the "tippie." i too learned this during my adventures through Holland.
Okay, here are my tips for blunts: 1) Garcia y Vega Elegante, or any greenleaf cigar, those are the best blunts. The wraps are usually fresher and wont crumble. 2) Blow in and out of the cigar from the end you're supposed to put your mouth on. A few strong puffs help to loosen the seams up a bit (at least I think so) 3) Wet the end that you put your mouth on a bit 4) Carefully peel away the thin, green, outside leaf. Its wrapped in a spiral, you can see the line when you have the cigar. Peeling away the leaf is usualy easy once you get it started. The hard part is at the mouth end, where theres a thick roach paper. I've found that just cutting/ripping a bit of the mouth end off is good to get the outside leaf started. 5) Now you should have a long thin green strip of leaf and the cigar in a thicker brown wrap. Find the seam on this one and using your thumb nails, slowly break it at the seam. Its not too hard to do, you just need to be careful to keep the rip straight. 6) Discard of tobacco and get rid of the roach paper (if any is left on there). Put you herb in the inside wrap. Lift the whole wrap up and blow moist warm air on it, this will make it easier to roll without cracking it. It may be easier to lightly lick it or blow on it before putting the herb in it, I usually just blow on it all at once. 7) Roll that sucka. 8) Blow lots of warm moist air on the greenleaf. Wet an end and start to re wrap it around the inside wrap much like it was originally. Start at the end you plan to burn. Be gentle with it as it can rip. This is a good oppertunity to make the blunt tighter or cover up any small holes in the inside wrap. Make sure you keep licking the greenleaf too, to seal it up nicely. Alot of the steps can be done differently, I'm sure. Try doing things your own way if it works better. Dont bother with those blunt wraps either, they taste allright but seriously, what the hell are they made of? Greenleafs taste better too. Next time I roll a J I'm going to try it inside out. Oh yeah, one last tip, its easier to roll a fat J than a scrawny one.
i usually roll pregnant joints, in hopes that they will one day give birth to baby joints. unfortunately, they never last long enough to do so
