I just read an article recently-don't have the link at the moment-that Ron Paul announced earlier this year that he won't run for re-election to the US Congress this year. He said he did it to focus on his presidential campaign. I also checked and he wasn't on the ballot for the primaries to choose the candidates for his district in the 2102 elections. This made me kinda sad. He's one of the lone voices of morality and reason in the US Congress-what'll happen with him gone? I used to live in his district before I moved out of the US. Any thoughts?
Yeah I've read in the past that if he did not get the nod and presidency.. that he would be retiring.. he is getting up there in age at 77(2nd oldest in congress.. tied with Jim Oberstar)... sure he'd like to go enjoy his gold... and if anything.. back future Libertarians with his surplus of funds
