It was Mia Farrow, wasn't it?

I don't know of one with Farrah Fawcett.

And I've never grown rosemary...but it sure maes some tasty dishes.

Also, it's one of the most positively 'baroque' Grateful Dead songs ever.

ah, you are so right. i guess it was about the same time those sexy farrah posters were all over the place so i misremembered them together.

the dead, i was always more into what i consider deadhead culture as having been about then any of their actual music, which struck me as mostly rather mediocher. so i never quite 'got' what people saw in it itself.

no dissing of anything about them intended, it just mostly left me "meh".

i didn't even know they did a song by that name, and haven't the slightest idea what it sounded like. i appologise that that must sound rather unhippie patriotic, but i honestly just felt like their music was some kind of nothingess. then again i'd never been to one of their live concerts, so i guess it might be different if i had. i only know from what recordings i've heard of them, and suspect what was must have been going on for people to be so into, just doesn't come across in audio only recordings at all.

there was/is also a rosemary o'donnal of course. her persona doesn't seem like one i'd want to spend a lot of time in the company of either, though i have no idea how closely, if at all, it resembles her actual person.

(that's who/what i had guessed the thread started out about, and kind of thought the two things i mentioned were at lest a little more interesting, i honestly didn't know about the dead song by that name)

In a series of horror movies, beginning with Rosemary's Baby in 1968 and The Exorcist(1973) and The Omen (1976), children were literally demonized.

I remember seeing "Rosemary's Baby" at a drive in. Took a big hit of acid befor the movies started. Was peaking pretty good by the time Rosemary started.
When the scene with devil was on Rosemary and she said " this is no dream this is really happening" I just about pulled the steering wheel off my poor little VW bug.
That part really scared the shit out of me...........Alaskan
