I live about a block from the train tracks & every time I hear the whistle blow I wonder if I have time to throw myself in front of it.
Bless your heart, Kindwoman. Life is far too precious to end it so abruptly... and painfully! *hugz* I know that a few words from me can hardly help turn things around, but it is a start. Just take it one day at a time, and life won't be so overwhelming.
That's just dumb. Not for wanting to end it all but because you will survive and be a vegetable and burden your entire family. Find a more surefire way please.
That was pretty good-umm- I mean terible, how could you be so insensetive, and it wasn't entirely accurate since trains are real big and stuff. Don't go through and die. Maby you could get some mdma, then you wouldn't want to die no more.
who survives a hit by a train? lol the fact that you think about whether you have enough time to run over there means you wont do it. if you wanted to kill yourself, you would already know when the whisle is going to blow and would alreayd be waiting at the tracks.
i disagree, i think people who are suicidal have different ways of thinking about it sure someone might plan in advance but how do you know someone isnt going to do it simply because the opportunity comes up?

come on kindwoman.......we are what we think we are.....so stop thinking like that....besides, what would it solve? Atleast you won't know the difference.....is'int it better to stay and watch what happens at the end of a movie ....then to leave in the middle and maybe miss the best part?

I know how it feels to want to end life, Ive been there before.... but I got through it, I know things can be o.k. ...... so I always try and encourage people I see who are hitting those lows. I know it probably feels like you are all alone in that and that nobody really sees how you feel, but some of us do know.... *hugs* .... I wanted to tell you to hang in there, things will get better, and life can be worth living. I dont know your circumstances but your choice of name alone -kindwoman- tells me that you are a beautiful spirit. Life is tough and often painful and there are times when some of us (usually those of us who deserve it the least, unfortunately) have it really damn hard. It is those of us more sensitive who hurt the most. Sometimes the pain is so great that it turns into a type of numbness... an aching so deep inside that there seems to be no consolation for it. I find doing things that make me feel alive, like going for a walk in the forest, or finding pure beauty in simple things in nature... the delicateness of a flower, the towering yet humble stature of a tree, glimpses of wildlife and listening to water flow over rocks in a streambed.... little things like that, bring me great joy. They remind me of my love for nature, and when the world looks ugly and I feel all alone... I seek out these precious things in nature to remind me that there is beauty in the world, and it lifts my spirit... and its not so bad... Well ... I know this might not help, but I wanted to share.
