Has anyone else heard about the Ikitaki villages from inside Japan's mainland? I can't seem to find it on the cnn website but I am still looking. Its really so so sad to me what has been happening to culture in this world we live in. The fact that the ikitaki had to deal wit such racism and bigotry from tourists, Canadian especially, really depresses me. Who beats up children on vacation?
Yeah I heard about it. It is really sad that the world has come to this. From what I heard the Ikitaki are almost wiped out by diseases the tourists bring with them and now they also have to deal with tourists beating their children.
I support beating kids if they deserve it. i once coined a controversial phrase "pre beating" for when you can tell your kid is going to be an asshole so you beat them before. People got really pissed of at me
I totally agree. I dont know whats all the fuss about. Sometimes kids deserve it. its a normal thing.
i havent heard of any of this but its terrible, people have no respect for others, the tourists are guests in that country and they should act respectful
i think it's awesome when people wander in and don't read a whole thread before replying. it's sweet.
you are terrible with jokes cate you could have kept this going for pages than it'd be moved into the politics forum and they'd get they're hands on it and it would go into infinity i am disappointed
