i was just wondering if it would be safe to use my diva cup right after my c-sec????? or should i wait until a certain amount of time has passed?????
I wouldn't. You really need to watch your blood loss after birth to make sure you aren't hemmoraging-I know you probably could with the cup, but it seems safer imo, to physically easier and safer be able to check with a pad. Why don't you get some cloth pads? OT-why are you having to have a c-section?
well right now i am not sure if i have to have a c-sec i wont find out until monday when i have an ultra sound to see where the placenta is. i have placenta previa and havent been to the doctors in two in half months due to moving to a different state not having insurance and moving into a new house that needed to be cleaned and renovated. but on monday we will find out if the placenta moved and then shane my midwife and i will be going over the pros and cons of vbac. But most likely i will have a c-sec due to my family's history and my petite frame not a big deal. i told my midwife that i wanted to be completely knocked out with this c-sec due to some bad experience with my first. ( i could feel the drs cut me open and pushing on my stomach ) she told me that she would rather i get an epidural its safer plus they will give me some type of drug to relax me so yeah
