do you use it ? what is your salt to water ratio? did it help in any way? do you rinse right away? the next day?
I asked the same exact question once, and I too got the reply of Use that recipe and basically didn't get the question answered, lol. So I did research elsewhere and basically you want to buy pure sea salt and mix it with enough water to the point it taste like the ocean. You can put it in a spray bottle and spritz the hair as it is drying (Best time to apply apparently.) You can also just hitch a ride to the nearest coast and dunk your head under the ocean a few times. Sadly it's too cold now to attempt that. Most people prefer to keep the salty goodness in til the next wash. And yeah, if you have all the ingrediants of that recipe then use that.
I bought some sea salt from wal-mart. I fill my sink up with with lukewarm water, and then I just sprinkle the salt in the water, going back and forth 4-5 times with the can. I mix it up, and then I just dunk my head in a few times. I have kept the salt in for a day or two before, and rinsed immediately after. I didn't notice much of a difference either way. I use this salt-soak about twice a month.
