Yesterday, my daughter was telling a friend of hers about the Salves I use to make when we lived on the farm. It made me think I should start making them again. I made one salve that became very popular with neighbors. They would come to my house and ask for it because it soothed poison Ivy, kept mosquitoes away better than poisons and it helped heal wounds fast. I do not remember the amounts I used of each herb but I will write the basic ingredients.

Plantain, Yarrow, garlic, Jewel weed, aloe, and Raspberry leaves.

    Olive oil, and bees wax

    Scented with Tee tree oil.

I soaked the herbs in the olive oil in a dark space for a month. It smells bad and then I strain it and add the tee tree oil to over power the bad odor and I melt bees wax into it to make it solid. I put it in tiny jars.
