Sandwiches.

Who else here values the sandwich over all other foods? The versatility it has is just ridiculous. You can also eat it while watching tv without hearing "crunch. crunch. crunch."

i like sandwiches so much i drop my trousers and smear the contents all over my naughty bits.

Sandwiches are God's gift to serious cases of munchies -- those which cannot be appeased by Cheesie Poofs, Doritos, Sour Cream & Onion chips, chocolate bars and ice cream alone.

I love a good sammich. You can eat them anywhere, include multiple ingredients, they're sustaining, and you can share them.

THE AMERICAN WAY.

 

Actually the sandwich was named after 18th century Brit John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich. He used to play cards for very long periods of time and didn't want to stop to get something to eat so he would have his servants bring him pieces of meat between two pieces of bread and it was thus named the sandwich.

 

oddly, i knew that. i was referring to your post sounding like a corporate strap line.

 

I just eat mayonnaise out of the jar and skip the sandwich middle man step.

Sandwich making is like an art. The stacking and amounts of the ingredients makes a world of difference.

-Montreal smoked meat sandwich

-alfalfa sprouts, tomato, mayo, turkey breast, hot horseradish mustard, pepper on rye or whole wheat bread

I love making sandwiches for myself. I make them nice and pretty so it decorates my stomach.....you know.....in case I have to show anyone around or something.
