Ever since i was really little I have wanted dreads. I live with my dad, and he aproves. My mom and the whole other side of the family on the other hand, does not. Like I care...well anyhoo, I have very thick, blonde WHITE hair. I need serious help. My hair is so thick and yet the acual hair is thin. My pictures are in my galler if you wanna see. I have short hair now, since I cut it. Can you help me?

I looked at your gallery, and i dont think your hair is long enough to make them into dreads. braids on the other hand....
your so lucky your dads letting you get dreads..i had dreads for three months and my parents said if i didnt take them out then they would take my car away and i would not beable to go anywhere or do anything..so i had to take them out...my hair is now super short and i hate it...o well when i grows out in a year im going to redo them..ill be in college by then so its all good.peace and love
hehe, yea, my dad pretty cool. just remember he was alive in the 60's, he was a pot head, and all that. Yeah, he is cool. Well any way did u do the dreads yourself? can you give me some advise?
my friend did them for me...she took sections about 1 inch by 1 inch and backcombed really well then put a tiny pit of wax in...www.knottyboy.com they have instructions on how to start dreads..and be patient because there will be days/weeks when they look really bad..but hang in because they will look good in time..peace and love
