Does it seem to me that IF heaven and hell existed, then satan may be actually the good guy who is trying to get us to enjoy our bodies and human powers etc, in good ways like sex etc whereas god is some arrogant poopoo head who is ramming 'worship me' down our throats and trying to keep us from the possibilities of human life?

Anything goes is for animals. Because they do not not have the capability to destroy themselves entirely, steadfast rules do are not needed for animals. Humans, however need them for their very survival whether they realize it or not.

How about this. God is good, infinite, merciful and beyond human comprehension. You cannot do things for God any more than a baby could look after its parents. If you want a better world, live in one. Don't kill. Don't steal. Help others out. It ain't that hard.

Wait, are we talking about Satan, who can roam around in Heaven, or the rebellious Angels who are in a pit of flint, or the serpent or whatever, who's going to end up in a lake of fire?

Hell is supposed to destroy the soul, yet people live there. I can't seem to figure this out. I'm glad it's not true...

When did this happen? Satan shows up in the story of Job.

Job 1:6 One day the angels [a] came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them.

It is apparently a SURPRISE to the Lord (who is omniscient?) that Satan is there... and doesn't know where he came from.

Job 1:7 The LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?"

Yet Revelations say the dead SLEEP until Gabriel wakes em up, when they'll enter the Lake of Fire. It also says to fear him who can destroy the soul in Hell. Doesn't sound like the rich man was destroyed if he's in hell and praying for water.
