So, after 5 years in Parliament, Junichiro Koizumi has stepped down as Prime Minister of Japan and we must now welcome new Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/5380366.stm Bye bye Koizumi-san, I shall miss your hair dearly
I prefer Koizumi to Abe. Abe-san has little political charisma. Koizumi-san a bit looks like Richard Gere, doesnt he?
I must admit, I haven't any experience with the Abe government, but I thought Koizumi wasn't so bad...He carried many of his reforms through and he had amazing hair. His Elvis obsession was a little bit much though and as for the Yasukuni Shrine... it's a tricky one, but at least he kept his promise. I can kinda see the richard gere thing... One thing I will give Abe credit for though, is that he is tryng to make peace with China and Korea and make relations better.
