I've wanted to say this for quite a long time, and I figure I'll be banned from the forums within seconds of hitting the enter button, but here goes...

I'm don't really like the Levellers.
In fact....I think they're dull.

The Levellers aren't the only band playing at Beautiful Days. Would you not go to Glastonbury if one band you didn't like was headlining?

Come on now Richard, let's be truthful now, you've been to seated levellers gig's before.
The levellers seem to me to be the ultimate example of a band "resting on their laurels". Never moving forward, or throwing up at least one original idea. I'm going to see Floggin Molly thankyou.

As you officially have the worst (and possibly most "middle-aged") taste in music ever; I take your insults as compliments. So go count some more bricks whilst listening to the generic, by the numbers, pseudo-folk that consistantly pervades your aural consciousness please.

(By the way, I'm still buying that ticket to Beautiful Days off you, right? )

Hold up hold up a minute here Kris...My musical taste is not the issue here lol, its besides the point. The point I was making is if you like Flogging Molly/Bleeding hearts I find it hard to understand why you dont like the Levs! Musically all very similar, Lyrically theyre all similar. Live wise theres not a band around with as much energy on stage as them. Sure their albums on a whole have got (slightly) mellower as time's gone on but still the quality and catchy chorus and danceability are still there so whats wrong with them exactly !?

If you actually seen them live this time you'd soon change yer tune.

And yeah the ticket is still yours as long as i get the money soonish

The Levs are far from fucking uncreative lol what the hell are you talking about?! and no i wasnt joking about the levs having the most energy. Theyre one of the most entertaining live bands there is and definately the most entertaining ive ever seen. Ive seen both them and Flogging Molly and Molly were DULL compared to the levellers. Theyre maybe louder but they did nothing on stage. No personalities, no appeal!

That LSD obviously affected your senses mate lol as you had no chance of seeing the levs from where you were camped and you cant comment on a live band you have never seen. Anyway to end this argument in a witty and insightful manner:
