I quit school at 16 got married and divorced and moved to SF. I had a great time and learned many things. In todays world it is hard to find work that is not low wages and back busting. That's fine for when your young and your body still works right but when you get older and all that back bustin' work catches up to you your screwed. If you work for cash you have nothing coming when your old or become disable. There are so many people applying for the same jobs. They look at your education and if you stuck it out or quit. If you couldn't even get through school then what kind of effort will you apply to your job.
I got tired of making other people money while I had to go on food stamps to feed my children. I went back to school when I was 30 to compleate my education and open a biz of my own. It was difficult to work, go to school and raise two kids. I walked to work and on my lunch break (and an hour my work gave me to do this) I walked to school and back to work again and then home. It was hard but I did it with the help of my sister who watched my kids I got my GED. I went to collage when I was 40 and contenue to study whatever interest me to this day.
We are here to learn. When we are in school were learning to deal with many facets of life. Authority, Peer Pressure, Individualaties, Priority setting and so much more. It's like teaching you how to learn and incorperate. The choices you make today is what you will live later in life. My advise to you sweetie, is to stay in school and find something you 'dig' and work on that, find out all there is to know before you make your final decission. It's not easy out on the streets. Even communes charge you an 'entry fee' to join. The ones that don't still expect you to pull your weight and work you hindend off. Arm yourself my friend with an education don't be a dumb shit. You'll regret not staying in school in the long run. IMHO. Brightest Blessings in all you find.

In order to reach those stars and do the things you want to do one has to have the knowledge to get there. Learning helps pave the way for what is in store for you. It might not seem it now. I have had this discussion with both my teens. If flipping burgers is for you or any other job that doesn't take a higher education, then quitting may be for you. But what if later, years down the road, you change your mind( in which you will),and there is something that you really want to do, you will need that education to do so. There is a big old world out there, and the best way to explore it is through learning. I really hope you stay in school. If you do, there is no telling what you may achieve.
