The name makes me want to spit. It's about time they took care of business. I'm far from being a violent person, but what that man did... *shudders* Pure evil.
I don't believe in the death penalty since it makes no sense to kill someone for killing someone, and no one has the right to take away life. People who believe that it is a good thing have flawed logic. Also, it has been shown that it does not decrease crime. He did a horrible thing and should be imprisoned, but I thinkt he death penalty is barbaric.
the man deserves to die for killing that girl and her baby think of it this way, he'll have longer to burn in hell
I also hate the death penalty because it takes away the chance of proving innocence. I remember reading a story about the youngest person on death row and they found out that he was innocent. Luckily they had not murdered him yet.
i personally believe he deserves death... but i dont know whats worse: sittin in jail gettin raped by big bubba and his crew or death years in jail is torture... then kill him! i do agree with whoever said the comment about paying for a murderer to sit in jail. BS! im not paying for some fucker that killed two people havin a hay-day.. watchin tv, eatin food... shit, i need to pay MY cable bill and buy MY food!
I don't believe in capital punishment. While I won't necessarily feel sorry for the man when he is put to death as he is complete scum, I just don't think that any person has the right to decide when and how a person dies. He didn't have the right when he chose to kill his wife and unborn son and neither should the courts have the right to decide to kill the man. I'd be fine with keeping him in jail for the rest of his life.
i hate to tell those of you bitching about taxes this, but it does cost more in legal fees etc. to put a person to death (due to the appeals process, which is necessary to reduce the chance of executing an innocent) than it costs to imprison a person for life.
It does cost more supposedly for the legal process, appealing death sentences. either way tax payers pay for it somewhere. I seriously doubt that he will be executed within the next 10 years or so. they have already filed their motions for another trial because the prosecution witheld evidence or something of the such which could have helped them prove his innocence its just an ongoing legal process from now on, wait until he runs out of his fees for his present attorney the state will then give him a new attorney to fight and appeal his execution, they will give him an appellate attorney, and who pays the appellate attorney, the state, and who pays the state, the people. Cheaper to kill him and get it over with.
