Trump's nominees to the federal bench are gunning for same-sex marriage Trump has appointed 239 Federal judges, with 47 vacancies still to fill. Like the Supreme Court, Federal judgeships are lifetime appointments. Predominantly white males hand-picked by the Federalist Society not for their experience and expertise, but for their youth and ideological purity, these people will be subverting democracy and polluting the judiciary for decades to come. American jurisprudence will not recover in my lifetime.
