Screen Question

I'm planning on buy some screens, and I'm not sure of the difference between brass and steel. Is one better for you than the other? Will one take more heat than the other? Are there any plusses or negatives to either one? Thanks.

I've only used brass cause I feel it's easier to size them (I make alot of my own pipes and bongs and shit and so I snip them a bit to make multiple-sized grills). Copper is pliable but also takes a fair amount of heat. I've never used steel but I'd imagine they'd be a bit harder to cut (which may be a good thing), and I'm sure can take alot of heat. I don't think it would make any real difference which you'd pick, but who knows.

Brass or Copper will make you legally insane (so will having took more hits of acid to make 7 people legally insane) huh? wuh? but it also has a hella nasty taste to it.

 

my advice is glassartplus.com they have glass screens i ordered like 20 of them when i ordered a new bowl simply because they're small and stoners tend to lose things lol

 

I would imagine that steel would taste the best, but i use brass and it works just fine

 

I agree with guest and go with the glass screens.

 

glass screens clog real easilly, i dont like them. I use brass screens because i just like them better, no real reason. And to everyone who thinks screens taste SO bad, you're crazy, cause ive been smoking with screens forever and have yet to notice a diffrence
