I wanted to try those but I was worried about spotting and side effects. Is it really that good?

I only have spotting when I miss a pill and the spotting goes away after the placebo... I used to be on yaz and that was terrible for spotting but I love seasonique

You're probably going to have spotting at times. It just happens on an extended cycle. Like you're very very likely to sometimes spot for a new days during the first year. But after that... :D I've been on them for a year and a half and I haven't had spotting since a little incident in the beginning of this year. It's just a matter of starting out and it takes a little longer than because the length of one cycle is longer. But usually the spotting is light and just a few days at a time so it's really not a problem.
