Secert Keys in Windows

    I thought that this would be an interesting topic to discuss; additional 'secret keys' in windows that allow alteration of the assumed encryption characteristics thus opening the users machine to security compromise including 'back door' access:

    It is also interesting to note (for further research) that upon a cursory search for information on how to replace the key I came up virtually 'dry' and when looking at the wikipedia article under "References" I noticed the following comment after one of the references about how to change the key:
