I think it'd be cool if everyone was vegetarian- might be a nicer world- less animals under pain/less global warming etc.. Forcing people to go vegetarian sounds a bit harsh though? Though I don't agree with it surely everyone's entitled to change if THEY want to. I highly doubt the government would go through with it: but it's a good thought as to how our lifestyle's are affecting the planet. Discuss away
I read about that. You're not going to everyone to go vegan, but it makes perfect sense to limit meat consumption and raise standards of animal care. I don't really have any sympathy for omnivores, they choose to eat meat and where said meat is produced; but I don't see non-humans having any choice about the conditions in which they live.
