Last week in the last hot day of the summer I hapened to see this guy who I knew while I: was barefoot. He's very much a redneck type and would of made a big deal about me not wearing shoes. Fortunately he didn't see me. I wish I were beyond being bothered about this but I'm still insecure. I don't like him but still. It's something I have to deal with.
i've known a lot of rednecks, and i've never known one to give a fuck what kind of footwear someone else was wearing. i go barefoot a lot, and i see people unexpectedly a lot. i'm not a huge fan of running into people i know in general, but my clothing choices don't really have any bearing on that fact. now make a thread called "running into your boss at the grocery store while you're high" and it might be more interesting.
I gotta agree, as if a redneck would care? What with his dirty torn jeans and stained covered singlet top and whatever else comes out of King of the Hill. I just can't see them caring in the least. Nor anyone else really. How often do people really look at some bodies feet?
I think I would view it as their problem, not mine. If they have an issue then ignore the digs or remarks. It would not change me not wearing shoes.
