I'm in central Maine right now, and once I have some money saved up I want to try and move down to the Portland area... for a few reasons; most of my good friends live there; work opportunities are much more prevelant; and there is a very progressive activism and arts scene which I'd like to be involved in/experience. I'm hoping within a couple months I can have enough money saved to move and have me set for awhile until I find new work. Does anyone know of any communal situations in the southern maine area that have room for another occupant? Eco-housing, shared rent, communes, etc... I don't like the idea of having to rent by myself (or with someone I don't know), especially in a new environment. I've already checked out IC.org and can't find anything too promising. Also talked to members of the PFS/Foglight Collective, and they said they'd keep an eye out for me. Figured I'd give a toss here and see what turns up. Thanks friends!
