that was pretty good i enjoyed reading it more then i thought i would have. it really is a shame how many people are over in iraq fighting that crap. it will be nice to see what happens once bush gets out of the office. hopefully whoever gets elected gets shit straighted out. im not really sure if anyone could straigten it out after the crap bush has done... good poem sorry for my ranting.... lol
ive never really gotten into politics so im not even sure what i concider myself. i think that its hard to judge about what should have happened. we probably would have had to go over there anyways but i still think bush jumped on it to quick. i dont really know many people in the service and im pretty sure that the ones i know arnt in iraq. if they did go to iraq it wasnt for very long but im not sure though. sorry about your friend wars suck so bad... my dad lost a few good friends to vietnam and the ones that came back wernt the same.
yea luckily my dads draft number was to high so he wasnt drafted. he also said that alot of people that he knew went to canada to get away from the draft and start growing. my friend that i always hang out with his dad was in vietnam and hes mostly normal. he was around that agent orange so that fucked him up a little bit plus hes been in a couple car accidents and glass has fucked up his sinuses. the only reason he went to vietnam i guess is because his parents sold his car while he was out of state visiting friends. he went and signed up the same day he got back and found his car gone.
i think that the vietnam war was more justfied then the iraq crap. i understand exactly what your saying about the hell they went through. the vietnamese fighting tactics were fuckin brutal. guerilla warfare is fuckin crazy shit all the traps and ambushes in them jungles would be enough to drive me crazy. they knew them jungles so much better then us thats the main reason alot of people got killed or fucked up. anyways if you gotta get up by like 9am or something you prolly arnt going to be here much longer. im heading to bed here in a few minutes this was a good thread idea. hopefully everyone you know will be back around you for the holidays.
