    ~*Lovers Ride
to the Bright Stars in the Sky*~*

    written by Gabrielle Bryant 9/9/2012

I fell into a world full of magic and flight
I wanted to climb endless stairways, and float instead of be pulled down
I wanted wings to keep me in the sky and never fall down
and then I fell in love with you

I wondered about the heavens and the rain
The roses where the sky was so blue
But deep down I cried thinking of the darkness
And why the lights inside burned to such a sparkling hue

I fell through the looking glass, I crashed into you
The view from the sky was narrowed by the horizon
And even when the lovers awoke, I dreamed of my haven
Where skies shimmered as everlasting as it was true

    What happened to the flowers?
Tipsy topsy turvey and the sky is getting flurry
Spinning on a pinwheel and wandering through
I fell into a trip that I could not break through.

Someday the morning might catch upon the due
Someday I'll have my lover too.

~*Stars and Sunshine Under a Hill of Twisted Pine~*

    Gabrielle Bryant 2012

One million miles I have walked to you and I still did not understand
a million miles through many starry and distant lands
I woke one million suns, with millions of galaxies in my hand
moving in slow motion, I waved through the rolling ocean
wanting to fly with tears in my eyes, praying to die of emotion
I still could not stand the watery cries as paint became my potion.

The mystery is that this was all because of my imagination
There are people who love the stars we have been bringing
they shine around and through everything we touch
But they push me down with this gravity way too much
They walk a million miles just to say to me that I am alone.

"Forget it, girl, you've lost it all,
Take two more hits before the fall
The world is not your wonder wall you see
It's too late to save the suns of humanity."

You'll walk with the sun and burn through
A million steps until you find your soul flying free
Whose lullabies will whisper for us all to be happy
And you'll dream of being held wholly too
And you'll forget all about me

And as I open the doors and walk cross eternity
You'll imagine what it's like in the corner of your room, forget me.
The darkness in your heart is too bitter to taste
And the sweetness in my soul is too bitter for hate.
So I just love everybody, so I just love everybody.

A heart breaking in a hundred confusing places
A smile quaking upon the lips of so many empty faces
And so you sleep alone and dream in memory
Of so many people who die alone and feel unhappy

And you don't want to be alone anymore
They say a million eyes, a million minds
It took to crash the system of blindness with a whore
But I found that in one instant how my reason sees

A world between zeroes and hypotheses
I will begin again, after I explode, phoenix full of hope
And then I will come back again in through your telescope
I will be in the centrefold, and drift through the seam
And you will wonder what you saw, and if you still dream

I will be the endless star that never ceases
I will drift upon a galaxy of space and free all those left behind
And I will dream to welcome space in my mind
I will reassemble the broken pieces of human kind.

Crossing into my own universe of light; I echo to another:
Dream on and live for the future, eons of one another,
Until the world becomes a supernova of embers
And we separate into the stars of Gaia's lovers, to become
The Lords and Ladies of our new Universal Kingdom.
