Shadow People

Alright, I know a lot of you probably won't believe me and the things I'm going to tell you but I figured I should tell people. Last year my mom died from lung cancer and she was always a woman who was in touch with psychic phenomena and otherworldly things. Months before she became sick she was freaked out due to seeing a shadow person on the driveway and peering into the front windows on separate occasions. It was "bent over and looked like it was the silhouette of a person bent over in laughter". It appeared to be hooded. A month or so later she saw one in the mirror in our house that was hooded and "was covered in a dark burlap material". The entity appeared and turned its head towards her. Then it cocked its head as if studying or shocked by her. To make this short, she claimed to have seen one over her bed (hooded also) moving its arms in a waving motion over her and muttering something (she could see its mouth and features.
Two months before she died I was in the kitchen with my mother and sister. In the corner of my left eye I saw a big, dark figure rushing towards me. When I turned to the left I could see that it was a figure composed of a dark mist that billowed with the motion. This figure bounced from the wall to the floor and came at me without moving its arms or legs. It happened over the course of 4 seconds or so and I was so shocked at seeing it that I didn't have time to move aside. It came right at me and collided with me. I was bumped aside and managed to stay on my feet. I will tell you, I felt it hit me and I felt the pressure of warm flesh. The warmest, most pleasant warmth ever came from it.
I was shocked that I was able to see them head on but I suppose if my mom could then I can too. I share many of her abilities. The rest of my family are hardcore rationalists who quickly disregard anything "out of the ordinary" so they really don't believe me. Only my mother and I could see them and sense their presence. She thought they were evil and negative and that the first one, the laughing one, gave her the sickness. The one that "hovered over the bed" was saying words which she took as a curse.
I know what we experienced was real. And the things I experience today (not related to shadow people) are real too. I'm not saying my experiences are unique at all, but my "abilities" or however you want to put it are real. You can ask me about them just please don't mock me. Thanks and let me know what you think because I'm looking for insight into this that I might have missed.

 

You are not the first person to encounter Shadow People. You have to be firm with them, don't let them intimidate you, that only gives them strength.

I believe.

My house is full of them and other aspirations also, as far as I know, it's always been so. At least since we moved in.

First one was an old woman who didn't like me in her house. I simply told her that I was living here too and that there was plenty of room and I would do the cooking and cleaning. She seemed agreeable to that and has let me alone.

Then there are the Cobalt Blue Orbs that stay in a triangle shape, and travel around the house. They mostly hang out upstairs but I've seen them in the living room too.

Then there's the invisible cat. That one lays on people's chest, purring and kneading on whoever sleeps in the upstairs room.

The ones that were of The Shadow People were the most intriguing. There were hoards of them. They traveled down my long hall way from the front door to the back. Never from back to front, always front to back. I could see them as they passed the entrance to the living room. My husband saw them too once and he is a non believer in 'ghosts'.

The Shadow People have pets too, which I thought was cool. I only saw one. It was small and round, sort of like the shape of a hedgehog. It would run around the house from room to room. My niece and her son chased it behind my chair one day, they were in the kitchen and all of a sudden this little shadow hedgehog thingy came tearing across the hallway and ran right behind my chair with my niece and her boy in hot pursuit. I jumped up and looked behind my chair but it had disappeared into the wall.

I have to mention that our house is 120 yrs old and has secret rooms and passage ways. Crazy cool.

I'm wondering what happens when a house is destroyed, where will they go then? I was starting to see the "little people" again before the accident. (cat sized shadows, but usually standing upright, I've always called them little people.)

Me and my friends used to see them all the time in a field at the end of our street. We would have been between the ages of 9 and 12. They scared us and we nick-named the field "satans field" It was a creepy place for sure. I haven't seen them in years.

 

Nonbeliever here, too. I chalk it up to tricks of the light and imagination. Especially, when one is a stoner, which more than half the people on this site seem to be.

 

First of all, to the OP, paragraphs are your friend...utilize their greatness so my eyes don't burn from focusing so much.

Second of all, I definitely believe. I don't often SEE things, but I feel them. I felt death in my house as if it were a person with a strong energy when my father was dying. I felt death when my father-in-law came by this summer.

I feel energy in my house at any given time. A part of me wishes I could see it, but I think feeling it is much better (for me anyway) since that's what I'm used to...seeing it might freak me out a bit.

When I do see things, its usually silhouettes or flashes of light (like right after my father died, a flash of light kept dancing around my room - hardly noticeable unless you really focused).

I've seen a few "entities" in my life, but its been years since I've seen an actual formed entity. I've been spending the majority of time perfecting my "feelings" that my "vision" has been put on the back burner.

 

get your house tested for lead and other toxic substances. make sure you have no carbon monoxide leaking from pipes. it seems like you are hallucinating and it's probably due to some toxic substance in your home. good luck.

 

I experienced some thing very bazaar about two years ago. It came through my picture window in the living room in a burst of Prism Light, so bright it made me squint.

My nephew was sitting on the couch in front of the window, I was in my chair some 8 feet away. We were talking and suddenly these prisms of rainbow light started forming there what looked to be inside the glass itself.

As the prism came forward through the glass, more and more prisms appeared and seemed to hold a shape inside it. The shape was floating in the middle of the prism that encapsulated it. The figure inside the prisms was a silhouetted form that seemed to be in perpetual motion.

As me Ian sat there with our mouths gaping open. The thing starting moving/floating to the left towards my office door, which was the same wall my chair was at. So I was looking to my right, head half turned, watching with eyes wide as saucers.

I started doing some deep breathing bc my adrenaline was peaking. I could feel my heart beating in my chest. I was not scared at all, Ian was not scared. We sat there watching it about another minute and it started moving again.

I couldn't take my eyes off of it as it moved closer to the arm of the couch where my nephew was sitting and kinda just hung there for a minute. My nephew is a grown man in his 40s btw. I said to my nephew. Nephew, don't freak out but there is something standing next to you..

Ian, my nephew froze as his eyes looked to his left, he saw it, I saw his expression change when he sighted it. It was coming towards me now, where I was sitting. I went into full lotus and brought my frequency up a notch as I chanted my mantra silently to myself. Ian was in full view of the Entity as it passed through the other chair and then on though the end table between me and hubby's chairs.

When it got to the middle of the end table it stopped again. It was about a foot and a half from me. I moved my right hand out slowly as it started moving again. As the prism came on and engulfed my fingertips I felt a cool tingling go up my arm and it gave me a peculiar shiver down my spine.

It was not earth shattering nor did I get any 'message' from it. The thing came across the table and up my arm through my body, went out the other side of my body and disappeared through the wall on the other side of my chair.

Me and Ian looked at each other in awe and discussed it fully with no explanation available.

I'm not saying I'm the only person who's ever experienced these things I was asking if anyone's experienced or heard of these entities interfering with people to the point of influencing their health and leading to death. My house is fine when it comes to toxins and molds or anything that could be causing hallucinations. I still have dreams of things that end up happening the day I wake up or during the week. For instance I kept dreaming of parts of NYC under water with black storm clouds overhead (ended up happening a little while later with Hurricane Sandy). That's just one example. Most of the things are random events that happen during the day.

 

The one in particular you speak of, doesn't really seem evil. Maybe mischievous, but not evil. I think they are just watching over you and by what you were saying about the shadow figure jumping into you and giving a calm, warm feeling, indicates to me that maybe its trying to comfort you. Observe them, how they observe you; not only by perceiving, but in intuition and how they really make you feel.

 

I believe they are real. When my step dad explored ancient calender site ruins; I use to go along with him. I saw some amazing things. I totally believe in astral worlds and alternative realities. I see nothing hocus pocus about it. It is a scientific thing that has not been unearthed yet by our society.

 

It's a possibility.
Our eyes only perceive what our minds understand. Some people are more open to the extraordinary aspects of existence due to them being less socially conditioned or at least more open to the possibility of other states of being.
Children often experience such visions and we as 'sensible' adults reinforce the accepted norm i.e. there are no ghosts and the boggy-man is not there; don't be silly and grow up.
We just have to the logical and accept the possibility; no rational human is going to utterly believe without proof, but we must have open minds in order to expand our understanding of existence.
It is arrogant to claim that our science and knowledge can prove or disprove all. Logically we cannot ever fully understand everything, it is the order of life. A dog cannot ever understand quantum theory, or for that matter understand why when we push a switch light comes on.
Accept, listen, learn and live. Maybe these things are shadows in our mind, but if we don't keep and open mind the possibility that they are more will forever escape us

 

I have a lot of déjàvou (<~ spelling?) where I have dreams and then years later or months later I will have an experience that was what I dreamed to a T! Almost as though I dream my future without realizing it ever. I even saw my son at 4 moths old before he was born!
I have seen ghosts and had things attempts to interact with me that I can't explain. I'm not quite sure what to do with these "powers" I just have them and they rise on occasion. I have had experiences of all kinds since I was very little. I think it's very real but not to fear. If something is communicating with you then communicate your needs back with sincere energy.

 

I had an experience when I was maybe 9? Where a friend and I use to make each other pass out tingly headed for a sec...super dumb I know we're kids...(usually just got head tingles for a few seconds nothing major) anyways once she did it to me in my room and next thing I know I am in my living room biting my dogs neck wit her standing there terrified. What's in between I don't remember but I think what happened when I blacked out was a gateway for possession of another entity to enter me for a moment. She said when I blacked out I woke up evil and she trie to exit my room in fear but my door was locked shut (it didn't lock) I said something to her about not being able to leave the room. One of us kicked at the other person i think she might have kicked at me in fear on my bed I was wide awake an evil with a different voice(not really awake to this though myself.. It was almost like something had taken me over because I do remember seeing through my eyes snippets but not having control like a dream) we ended up walking from the room to the kitchen area ...she was sure by now it was over since i was walking around..but in the kitchen i proceeded to act a bit evil to my dog and tried to bite its neck in front of her. I ha a siper fluffy dog an would never bite my dog!! I said something about being hungry. this is when I came to and actually woke clear. Her and I were equally puzzled and scared by all of it an didn't return to my room for the whole night. I actually think it took me 3days to go back in there. we felt something bad was there and waited for the energy to clear. We inspected the room in wide eyes an curiosity. We slept in the living room and tried to make sense of it for hours. We never told anyone ever about it. And it never happened again. We knew no one would believe us. The memory is a blur now but it was absolutely a scary real weird thing to have happen. My home as a young child was a fairly happy place with little disturbance. It was almost completely random.

 

Chilling story, quite an invasive experience and yet you feel at ease, admirable

 

That's what I think. We are "conditioned" and "programmed" to see only what is in front of us, while ignoring what is also there. Yeah, kids are more open to seeing things because "they have imagination" when perception and consciousness comes into play more than creativity. I always think, our bodies are shells of energy, we are at the mercy of perception and our narrow band of perceptible information (narrow because we only focus on what is materialistically sound). Its myopia.

 

My son thought his room in our old apartment was haunted. He sort of stayed away from his room a bit. He hasn't seen rated r movies and isn't subject to scary things etc. he asked me one day if his room was haunted by a ghost. And I didn't say yes but I didn't say no. I didn't say no because I didn't know. What I did know was that if something was there is was coexisting and wasn't harmful. I assured him he wouldn't be harmed I think. I can't remember the whole conversation. I'm sensitive to the energy I spaces. Our current space has a fresh less stagnant energy an he's also happier.
