I was thinking about it and I know everyone has (or had) something they were insicure about with their body. I have found that it makes me feel better to hear someone else has the same thing and to hear how they got over it.
So thats what this is for. Name the thing about your body you dont like and listen to other people who feel the same
Unless of course this doesnt work and someone posts something and no one relates to it...which will make me feel bad...but hopefully that wont happen

so yeah if you laugh or make me feel bad about...you suck[IMG]

Ever since I was around 16 and I got put on birth control I shaved my legs and underarms everyday...for the past 6 months since I got on the shot I had to add stomach and chest to this..dont get me wrong..it doesnt look like a guy or anythign but it is noticable and grows fast, I got it waxed and it helps but I still shave. When I do it looks totally normal but it is REALLY embarrasing none the less
ok now somebody else say something....

my nipples are invisiable. So much so that one my nicknames in my late teens was "invisa-nip". My friends all had these beautiful rosy pink and brownish nipples, and I was very jealous. I wanted to have nipple-pigment-implantation surgury, but don't think such a thing exists. I once even dyed them with food colouring. haha.

People still bug me... family and friends and such, but i've never let it stop me from skinny dipping or whatever else I might want to do topless.

I don't like my disproportionatly small boobs. I am a "big boned" girl. I'm not fat, but I'm not super skinny either, just average. However I tend to look "fatter" than I really am because my boobs are too small, they don't seem to "fit in" with the rest of me. So I feel like I am always fat looking although I know I'm not.

I've tried those "increase a size" bra things before. They really help make me look a lot better overall. I'm not even trying to go for super sexy or whatever, I just want to look more "normal" and when I tried on one of those bras, I did. So what if I have tummy rolls when I sit down, if my boobs would just stick out further than the rolls I'd be happy. Which, if they were the right size for the rest of me, they would. It pisses me off.

In addition to the size issue, they are cone shaped. In otherwords, becuase of size and shape, they look like they stopped growing mid-puberty. ARGH!

There's not much I can or will do about my Too-small Titties but I try to make the best of it. I recently found a bra brand that is VERY comfortable and slightly padded, and gives a better shape to my boobs. Still looks too small but it's better than nothing. I used to wear nothing but a camisole under my shirts. I hated seeing my 12 year old boobs on my 20 something body in pictures!!!! Thank goodness for these bras.

I hate how I'm short (i know its not a big deal to some). I am barely 5 foot and always wanted nice long legs, I have to shop in the kids section for my shoes. My pants are always long and clothes never fit me right. And getting into any high SUV or truck is almost impossible...
I also hate how big my boobs are (bree wanna trade ;) ) they are way to big for how short I am..its annoying and I hate them, especially when im running or do any exercises, its embarrassing and clothes again never fit right. I hate them and wish I could deflate them. They just hang their like melons...I try to wear bras that push them down, but those hurt. I cant wear buttoned shirts, or when I do the shirt has to be like 3 sizes too big just to fit in the chest area..
and i loathe the scarring around my belly button due to my numerous surgeries..dont even like looking at it....blah
i actually feel better blurting all that crap out :D

    YAY! its working :)

and I have a similar clothes not fitting thing...Ive lost about 60lbs since I turned 15 and now my stomach is much much smaller but my hips arent. My hips and ass stay around 12 inches larger than my waist. So ill get jeans that fit my hips and have major crack or I get jeans that fit my waist and cant get them on

This girl I used to know was telling this story one nite... Apparently, her mom had to have a masectomy or something -- whatever, her nipples had to be removed (not just the nips of course, but...), so the doctors were going to just sew up what was left so that they could somewhat reconstruct something similar in appearance to nipples... And she got to help her mom pick out what color to have the pseudo-nips tattooed...
Sorry, you triggered a random thought....

As for my insecurities, depends on the day. I've got more fat than I'd like on my tummy & inner thighs. And my boobs are starting to sag... When I was an A cup, I joked about never having to worry about that, cuz where could they go? But then I went on the pill and gained a bit of weight (caused by the boyfriend who is too good of a cook and is the reason I went on the pill, I don't blame the pill for the weight gain!) and my boobs went up to a C cup. Which was great at first, but now without a bra, they're starting to look all saggy...:( Which would be fine if I had a reason to sag, like had a kid that I had breastfed, but I've never been pregnant or anything!

I have an idea if you'd like... you can go to a tattoo artist and have them "pink up" (or brown, whatever you prefer) your nipples. Even certain salons might do this for you, like the ones that do "permanate" makeup(pretty much tattooing on you). If you explained to them it I'm sure someone out there would be fine doing it. I know on breast cancer patients who have their breasts removed and later on reconstructed get nipples tattooed on by plastic surgeons...

ok so now I guess I have to add something I'm insecure about... mmm

I have fat knees, I can't wear skirts because I'm short and my legs are stubby looking and fat because of these stupid fat knees. I know its an inhierted (sp?) trait in my family because right down to my skinniest cousin all the women have these fat knees. What I mean about fat knees is that part next to your knee where theres supposed to be this cute little pocket. Well, mine are big and fat, no exersize gets rid of 'em. I remeber when I was younger I said when I turn 18 I'm getting them lipo'ed! lol Haven't gotten them liposuctioned...They remind me of a husky man's knees stuck on my body. :p

My mom doesn't think they look as horrible as I feel so hopefully they don't(but you know how moms lie!). lol

hmmm... i hate my ass, it's huge. i've always gotten comments on it since i was like 13 because it's big compared to the rest of me.. well, when i'm skinny it sticks out like a sore thumb, and when i'm fat it just makes me look fatter. bleh.. which leads to my weight that seems to always be up and down by like 10 lbs, i can't stay at an attractive weight all the time, i'm usually bigger than i want to be. oh and in the past year or so my belly has gotten really flabby, and it used to be my favorite part of me... so yeah, basically i hate how fat i am and i should probably go on a diet to fix it.

I'm the shortest waisted person I know...the space between my last rib and my hip bones is about 1 1/2 inches...I love clothes that emphasize a long waist, and I just can't wear 'em...and low rise jeans, well, forget it. i couldn't even wear those well when I was in high school so many yrs. ago (and they were called hip huggers!) Skirts with elastic waistbands are out too, pretty much...

I hate my stomach. Not because of trying to attract people, but it's just about impossible to dress my current body shape. My tummy sticks out more than my tits and nothing's designed to be flattering to short, wide people. I miss being a size 8ish (I'm currently about a 12) because at least clothes were possible to find, my size always sells out or just isn't shipped in, arrrg. My thighs bug me too, because they're too big to wear a skirt with without some hose on (friction which causes irritation, rashes etc)

ATM I have atheletes foot, that sucks. My feet age huge (size 13), my legs are fat, along with my ass which has some stretch marks on it. I can pinch a lot of fat on my belly. I have and have had tons and tons of pimples all over my upper back, shoulders, neck, and head. I wear glasses.

I really don't think that I'm a very attractive person most of the time, but sometimes I look in the mirror and think I am. I know I'm alot less attractive than many many other guys my age though.

This thread is in womens issues, but I am insecure sometimes on the way I look, and not a woman. I judge myself a lot harder than I do other people though.

Many many times I'll see a girl who I think is absolutely gorgeous and later I hear tons of people say how ugly she is. Not that I give a damn about what they think, but if they have a nice body why do they care about some little thing they thikn is wrong with thier face or something?

I am way more critical of guys which seems to be why I don't find them attractive, and also I compare them to myself.

I swear society has gone off the deep end when it comes to "beauty". Beauty is a crappy stupid ass trait. I'd rather be smart or atheltetic than "pretty". I find athlethic girls attractive, and sometimes I find intelligent girls who weren't before attractive attractive (personality is part of intelligence).

If everybody looked the same, not only would that be really erewrwe scary, it would also be boring.

Sounds just like me. The top of my breasts have like, no meat in them. All of it is confined within the lower portion, making them look saggy...and they've been like this since I was 12! They're too soft, as if my body planned to have large breasts so grew the proper amount of skin to accomodate them, but decided at the last minute not to fill it in. Oh yeah, and my right breast is significantly larger than my left. They only look ok when my nipples are hard or when I'm wearing a bra. There is a faint hope within me that they are still developing.

Bree, what bra brand works well for you? Because I really need a good bra and if it works well for you then it would probably work for me.

Same here. There was about a year-long period where all I wore were capri's because I just could not find pants that were long enough.

In addition to those things, I have size 11 feet that are nearly impossible to find well-fitting shoes for, muchless find some that actually are feminine or stylish. I was looking at shoes a few weeks ago when this girl next to me pointed to a pair of size 11 heels and said to her friend "What are those for--a drag queen?" It was funny, the kind of joke I'd laugh at, but I couldn't help but feel a sting. The funny thing is that I actually love my feet; I think they're pretty and that I'd have a hard time keeping balance if they were any smaller...but those damn shoes...

When I was about 10, one of my brothers taught me this way of positioning two mirrors together to create two center images from perspectives that one wouldn't normally see from. It's a trick you can use to see if your eyebrows are uneven or not, for example. I never knew my face was so disproportionate until that day. My eyebrows are completely different, my nose slants to the left and my lips are crooked. In pictures, I always try to have the left side of my face facing the camera because my nose looks smaller and my eyebrow has a better shape. And I don't have any acne scars on the left while I have a scattering on the right.
On the left-right subject, my right hand is a lot bigger than my left hand. And on the subject of hands, my fingers curve out in an odd way.
Body hair is something else that bothers me, especially on my face. Gross peach fuzz, and skin so sensitive that any good hair removal method rips, burns, or breaks out the skin.

Believe it or not, I love myself and don't really obsess. The above rantings are mere indulgences that would normally not be expressed.

You sound like me. My torso is really short, and there are so many cute tops that I'd love to wear, but on, they look ridiculous, they make me look even shorter and barely any torso, which in turn makes me feel like I look fat.

Tunics are a godsend for me, they make my torso look longer. *lol*
