The qoute is from a petshopboys song but I think very true , are you bored and is it because your being boring and what are you going to do about it . do you do things that challenge you , do you do things that suprise you things that may be out of what you consider your character http://nz.youtube.com/watch?v=GIYJrFzphQ0 petshopboys song its quite cheery
gosh that really applys to the subject of the thread , I dont much like them but that doesnt matter as the thread isnt about the petshopboys
I've been thinking about this for a while. I do pretty much the same thing every weekend and it's getting fairly boring now. I need to go do something mad or exciting.
maybe not, but i have nothing else to say on the matter and i felt bad for your thread having no replies.
It's sometimes tricky for me. I really love being home alone, able to blast whatever music I'm in the mood for and sing and dance along accordingly. But that isn't something I can really plan for. Most of the time I come home there'll be someone here doing something or other. And often I'll be sucked into that. If whatever 'that' may be doesn't agree I'll easily find something else to get into. But sometimes it takes a little time to get into the swing of being alone and having a blast... If you get what I mean I'm never bored, that's for sure
I did something this summer totally out of my nature and comfort zone. I went camping! Sonny (my husband for those that don't know) and I got ourselves a cheap Hippy looking tent (white with flowers all over it) and went to meet up with some people in the Black Mountains of Wales for a week long adventure. Totally pulled both of us, out of being boring waste of space people for a week. (Most of) the people we went with were absoutely amazing, and so encouraging of both of us, which was really good as we were absoutely scared to death of being outdoors for a week as well we're not the camping types. There were rough times, but most of it was bloody amazing. I learned I can do more than what I thought I could, and I think so did Sonny. I even organized a communal meat meal for about 16 people, and cooked it on the campfire. Before I got there, I never thought in a million years I'd be doing that (was afraid to even offer to help with prep work much less do the cooking and planning for that many). Since being back (as it's been about a month now), we both have been working to revitalize our living space. Changing it about, getting rid of loads of things we don't need (FREECYCLE) and getting more things we do need and have never had the space to put them (like a table and chairs for me to do my craft stuff on). We've also both been trying to get out on a near to daily basis and go and do something, whether it be just going to the in-laws, or helping his dad at his workshop, or anything to just get ourselves out. Today is one of the first days in a month where we have absolutely nothing to do, and are just chilling at home taking care of things here. It's good to break out of the comfort zone and keep yourself from being boring.
