I'm sure throwing the shoe made the correspondent for Al-Baghdadia television, an Iraqi-owned station based in Cairo, Egypt seem like a "Journalistic freedom fighter" to whomever watches his show.

I wouldn't doubt if the guy turned out to be the Bill O'Reilly of middle east "news".

It was quite a publicity stunt, I hope both of them get thrown in jail.
