Man i must have it good..when i go to the store i splurge on dog treats..cause i dont wear make up or hair things..and i like cloths from thrift stores..not really into the newest fashions..
im prety good about not buying things i dont need. Im sure if I had a job and payed for my own things it would be different. I don't need my card taken away but I do know friends who do. If you can get something cheeper someplace else do it...
i just got some MAC makeup brushes, lipgloss and FX press powder...put it all on the visa! haha...it was about 100, i know...way too much, but oh well. i had a tough week!
Went to the Gem show at the Tacoma Dome over the weekend and I went crazy there. Crystals, herbs for giving thanks, roots, opal earrings, a fresh water pearl pendent (it's way cool), um, things to hang in my window, some christmas presents for the step kids, candles, incense, etc. I just love rocks and jewelry and incense and all that stuff. Yes, shopping is an addiction and way too much fun. I do think it's a girl thing.
I don't understand why people would spend 200 on makeup and stuff...I won't spend even 30( total for a whole bag of makeup) if I buy it and I make it last forever when I do...Can someone please explain to me why you want to spend that much extra for things like this?
I guess I'm alone on this one, but I hate shopping. I don't like shopping for clothes because it takes forever, and when I finally find something I like that fits right, it's about $20 too expencive. My mom takes me out grocery shopping and it's awful. I'm a junk-food-aholic and I have to walk by all this crap that's really bad for me and try to ignore the rumbling in my stomach. I guess I can't complain about shopping for CDs, but even that I don't do too often.
well hmm for me, i love makeup...its just fun to me. ill buy what i feel i need, so i dont completely blow my money and id rather spend some money on makeup that i know ill use and is of good quality then go for the cheap drugstore stuff.
I just don't get it I guess because I can understand if your skin needs something special because of irritation or something you can't help but when you shop at a department store you are not paying for quality you are paying for the prety packaging.
ya that is true...for many products, it is about the packaging and you can get riped off. but the powder i buy is medicated for acne and mac's brushes are of really good quality. and i always buy clinque mascars, even though its expenive, because ive tried sooo many and its the only one that actually makes my lashes long and pretty.
I find shopping relaxing, fun, and sometimes even therapeutic. My roommie and I go shopping together a lot, and even if we don't buy anything, we still have a good time. I don't know why... I'd go shopping every day if I could.
