I went to Starbucks this morning and the woman who handed me my coffee asked me where I got my shirt. I told her the banana republic outlet in San Diego and she said 'That's great that they have bigger sizes. I recently lost 100 pounds and it used to be so hard to find clothes. You'll get there'. Okay the thing was-This woman was like 300 pounds and I don't think it's humanly possible for me to ever be 300 pounds, even if I ate a cow. Not to mention...banana republic goes from a 00 to a 14 and I certainly don't know anyone who is a size 14 at anywhere near 300 pounds. Then the woman who normally is there came up and said how much she liked my hair and the new woman butted in and said "You were blond before? That wouldn't have looked goodbecause you're really pale". I am just like okay...thanks for the beat down along with my mocha.
hahaaaaaaaaaaaa Yeah...I am so pale. I used to go tanning, but started aging and stopped. It's really cold here. I was always tan before I moved here.
call corporate, their manager probably knows and doesn't give a fuck managers usually suborn bullshit behavior, and are bigger douchebags than their employees.
no, the manager is a really cool lebian that gives me my drink free often. Everyone else is hella cool there too and has given me their number wanting to hang out (they mostly want to be set up with Navy guys...people see it as their ticket out of here). They are tight with a lot of their other regular customers too. Always super friendly.
I dont think you should call anyone, why care about the comments from a complete stranger? I mean sure, she sounds like a bitch, but it takes more energy and time to call the manager than to just let it go.
Yes, really... how about letting it go? It sure is better than being a complete bitch about the whole thing.
I go every morning though. It's literally the only coffee shop here and if I don't get my two shots of espresso in the morning I wanna run myself off the road.
If you see her again just tell her to "Shut the FUCK up" and ask to settle the dispute in a round of bones. real talk
So go in and get your coffee, ignore her, and leave with your coffee. Honestly Bella, you shouldn't let people get to you so much.
That's kinda like my kids saying "mommy(or marie) she called me a brat" My response is always," I don't care. Be nice with one another and if the other isn't nice, don't take it personal. " They never get in trouble because that is their stuff. People are rude. Who cares! Fume about it and then let it go. How many times have you said something to someone wishing to compliment them and they took it as back handed? It happens to me and I feel aweful about it for a long time. She's probably already feeling bad....and if she isn't, again, who cares. It's not your stuff unless you make it a big deal in your head.
I once got asked in a Cosi in Philly if I was having a bad hair day. It was funny because everyone that worked there was black, but of course all the girls with the super mega permed hair. This guy asked me and I was like am I? I dont think so, this is just my hair, I let it do its thing. I do need to wash it, but I wouldnt call it a bad hair day, there has been worse they laughed, I laughed, the other guy was like excuse my friend's rudeness, it's cool that you cool. It's just a person's opinion. The same day I got screamed by a guy, "you're so sexy, love the 'fro". I smiled at both comments.
I would have just laughed cause it's funny... People say worse things to me about stuff and the majority is pretty funny and I can't help but not too laugh...
I talk to the people there for a few minutes every morning...I am not gonna let insult bitch disrupt that routine for me. They were making faces at her while she was talking to me...so I think she is a bitch in genral...and in that case-she shouldn't be dealing with the public.
Honestly, what the fuck is wrong with you? You're going to get a person fired from their job for a comment to which you took some offense? What kind of fucking world do you live in? You need to snap out of your fictional daydream and realize that people will talk shit to you in the real world. You can either stand up for yourself, say something back, or just be the bigger person and simply ignore it... it sure is easy to ignore it. You have to be one hell of an insecure and angry person to call the manager over something like this. Do you realize that this girl probably depends on this job for some income? Who knows what you'll put her though by getting her fired over a few fucking words. Don't you have any decency whatsoever? Any kindness? Any compassion? Any self-respect?
