should i do DXM during 7 hour car ride??

we are making a trip to buffalo , NY (from Michigan), and the trip is 7 hours
(maybe more if my brother drives). Should I do like 300mg DXM during this? I would be in the backseat and listening to music the whole time. My dad isnt going so i wouldnt be paranoid. I don't get sick, but will take a Dramamine anyway for my stomach. I would drink it like an hour before we leave. We normally dont make many stops, but i could just stay in the car.

But, I'm wondering if DXM is fun in a carride. I have done it before and am wondering if i can still be relaxed enough to get that "body seperation" feeling when im really in the music, or if it will be hard while moving? Other DXM times, time seems to go quickly, especially with benadryl, which i will have with me too.

I should be able to control any physical effects with only 300. Just like to get your thoughts on this. thanks.

 

Sounds to me like you are well enough experienced and prepared for such a trip.

For the most part, I don't move around much on dxm so I suppose a long car ride would be doable. I would definitely take the Dramamine too, just in case.

Hopefully it'll make that 7hrs fly by.

Generally, I dont like listening to music while tripping on dxm. It usually sounds odd and distant to me. I much prefer to meditate and either stare at one object or swim around in cev's. But to each their own! Have fun.

 

yeah, ive never reached 3rd plateau, but i fucking LOVE music on it! it feels like my body is stretched and warped to the music (Electric Ladyland FTW). I;ve only had closed eye visuals on it, but my mind created scenery and abstract shapes to it (Sigur Ros). It was beautiful.

 

i did 750mg with my friend who took the same amount, and his sisters boyfriend drove us all around town it was really really fun

i think after awhile i would start getting a little claustrophobic...

Though I did it on a 4 hour ride back in the day and it was fine. If dude's going with his 'boys' (and his brother parties), then cool...go for it. But I get the feeling that he's going to be trying to hide the fact that he's robo tripping from somebody. In that case...hell no. Bad idea!

Having friends drive you around on a fourth plateau trip (1000mg-ish) is fun as SHIT.

I'd say you'll be fine. 300mg doesn't really make you look like you're on drugs and you won't have any problem with coordination or being normal at that dose.

 

dmx, on a car ride doesnt sound too fun. I def would get clausterphobic. I rather smoke some herb and pop some benzos, and sleep that shit thru

Well, I can't drive for shit when I do DXM. Maybe on back roads, but not on a the E-way or anything like that. I think it depends on how much your doing too.
I know I would want to pull off and go play in the woods or something.

the only time i did dxm in a car we were in the car for like 3 1/2 hours and everything was fine i was sooooo fucked up cuz i drank the 12oz bottle of robotussin and another 4oz one looking out the window in the city with all the lights and shit was insane it was awsome......but for like 25 minutes i thought i was gonna be sick but i held it all in..so take a dramamine or 2 and just chill....its AWSOME DO ITT

 

yeah, couldnt get ahold of any before the trip. So i just took like 5 benadryls during...it kinda sucked because they make you really cranky and my mom was bugging me the whole fucking time about keeping my seatbelt on, which really pissed me off cause wearing it makes me real claustraphobic.
