Should We Do Away with Rep?

i havent been perfect about rep. and here is why-it you look around the forums,i try to help and give quality posts, although i dont always.... (no one does always and no one should be expected to to always as you know) but yeah, it has became came a game on here there, like me, if you have a bad bad....

i think everyone should start anew and just have it was that. and if ands or butts for aneo

i respect whatever happended what ever happened here and love theirs forums

 

The decision is completely up to you. However, since you asked, I would say that getting rid of it may be a good idea. It seems to be more of a game or popularity contest than anything else, around here.

 

it is such a populary thing and i wish it would go away. look at soul less chaos for a whole. i have not seen even once seen for a while enogh that was truly quality... that is just an example... yet he is all up there with class with that that.

it's really not real. a lot of us try....even of us silly at times, at put our heart and soand out there and it it seems like ............

probably be a good thing to rid the rep thing.. as l only use it when giving the "I Disaprove".. Yeah I often to the forget to praise the good thread starters..

 

yes, I think we should get rid of that high school/popularity/rep thing. that would be a whole improvement on this site.

so many peeps choose not to use the rep system anyway.....

if it was used the way it was meant to be used itsa good thing..i.e. giving credit where credit is due
but since its rarely used that way i dont really care
perhaps if you started off with the max ksarma & you could only give bad reps when thy were really warranted? cause i think its valluable in the case of trolls or flamers
but there would have to be an apeal process since some would abuse it & give bad reps just to be assholes

 

I still like leaving annonymous nonsense for comments.

 

I like it, it's nice to make anonymous posts to someone about what they've written. usually soemthing like "stop being such a dumbass" or if it's nice something, it's usually a really random message that I'll give 'em, whihc has really amused some people. I don't sign any of mine though, or try to give them back to who repped me, because that's just silly.

plus it's a good way of flagging potentially bothersome posts that aren't bad enough for the report bad post button, right?

I kinda like being able to leave comments, but the whole score thing doesn't really matter to me, I have a pretty high score and it's not getting me any action at all.

ha haa i tried giving skip a rep just to be you know silly but i couldn't
so i gave some to others in this thread and i could only give three then it said i had given too much...hahaa wtf

I dont quite understand the point of rep. I mean, its kind of like a built in "click forming" device? You see someone with bad rep so you know to stay away from their posts and comments?

 

I say get rid of it, or make it so all reps are signed. Mostly it seems pointless anyway
