    Hello there interwebs.

    Question:
If one was for to say to procure an undisclosed amount of sid, would shining a black light on said tabs actually work to prove their authenticity?

If you have any over knowledge of ways to prove authenticity, lemme know. Obviously im still planning to get 2 before i drop undisclosed amount of resources on anything. but a blacklight would be prime just to make sure its the real deal when you go to buy alot

Bonus points if you know any stores or places that sell cheap possibly handheld blacklights

I haven't tried, and I would also like a 100% sure 'yes' tot his question before exposing my precious to UV rays. I think it does work, but I am not sure what to look for EXACTLY. I know it is supposed to be glowing particles, but you know.

    No.

Lots of things, including many substrates and the like, (that is, the paper itself) fluoresce under UV radiation.

Further, I'm not sure that LSD actually does, or that the amount is anywhere near big enough to anyway. I do know that some of the chemical tests used by the DEA (from reading microgram, back before they made that impossible) do use UV radiation, but first dissolution and chemical alteration of the suspected LSD.

If you're buying real big or something, find a chemist.

LSD does glow under UV light. It is a bluish-white glow, similar to a plain white t-shirt, but then again unique. It is one of those type of things that once you see some liquid or crystal under blacklight it is obvious.
Other substances do fluoresce as well, so it's far from 100%. It would be more reliable if you were checking liquid rather than blotter.
Or at the very least you could use a blacklight to find the liquid you just spilled on the carpet and cut the fibers out and eat them. ;)

if it doesnt glow: its not LSD
    if it does glow: Maybe

some other rc's and such do glow. So really all you can tell is if its not lsd by black light

If it's in liquid or concentrate form you can use a black light, or better yet, a black light laser to verify. Unfortunately things like white paper, sugar cubes, and other media also glow under black light, which makes it difficult to discern for the vast majority of folks.

one of these bad boys should get the job done. Also when you are done looking at L with it, you can use it as an awesome trip toy. You get some glow in the dark UV body paint from the sex store, and then throw it all over someones arm or leg or back. Literally smear it in. Then you take the UV laser and from a distance you can write glowing messages and patterns into someone's body. This is best done outdoors at night and it looks FUCKING TRIPPY!

Just shine that on a small sample, I'm pretty sure you could badly degrade your whole batch very quickly

it depends on how long you have it in there. Yes UV does degrade the LSD but only in prolonged exposure. Same with oxygen and moisture. Its not like if it touches any of the above and POOF its gone.
