    Hey,

I have a problem - it's no life-or-death matter, but it's still pretty disturbing. For the past week or so (but the feeling has grown increasingly stronger and stronger), i've been very sensitive. I'm mean, really VERY sensitive. If you poke me, I cry. For example: today, i saw the lift open on the other side of the hallway, I rushed to take it, I arrived just a second too late and I ended up almost crying like a baby. My nerves are in a knot, it has never happened to me. It's the period of the year when I have school exams, but I'm not really stressing about them.

The fact is that I took LSD (for the first time) and various other drugs about month ago, and I was wondering if maybe it was linked? Is my body (fairly new to drugs) suffering from the need to take it again (which I'm planning to do this weekend)? Can side effects manifest themselves after such a long period? Should I keep myself from taking drugs until it goes away?

I need the advices of experienced persons.

While I believe that LSD has no direct damage unless abused or bad batch. However it is possible that while taking LSD you became more empathetic.

But it shouldn't be that dramatic, what other drugs were you taking? Drugs like MDMA, would also push you being a lot more empathetic.

Also stress plays a big factor, even if you feel the exams are nothing, the fact that they are exams is a big stress on most people.

Perhaps so. It sounds like you are stressed. Exams are stressful take it easy on yourself.

I'd say stay off untill you finish your exams and untill you will feel that you are ready.

LSD can be extremely hard on the nerves. You can feel quite frazzled after taking it. It strains your serotonin system, and when your serotonin system is strained, you feel anxious, depressed, overly emotional, less strong. It also affects dopamine which can make things feel less rewarding too.

Can you tell us more detail about your recent drug use. It sounds like you did too much too soon too fast all at once, and now it's exam period and you are frazzled.

Looking back on the past two months, I can say that I probably did too much too fast (but not too soon in my opinion). The first night I took about a 1/3 gram of MDMA (1 gram for 3 persons), 1/2 ectasy pill and a bit more MDMA afterwards.
A week later, I took 1 and 1/2 ectasy pill, a bit of ampethamin, smoked some weed and took a dose of a liquid close to LSD.

I really want to try LSD, but I guess you're right. The side effects can last more than the trip itself, and I might not want to take it during my exams, knowing that it's my last year and that if I don't come to an exam, I have to redo my whole year.

Is it possible to take only a bit? I guess that the hallucinations will be lighter, but will the side effects be too?

Thank you all for your answers by the way :)

The problem is...yeah, this is somehow embarrasing to say, but, I've never felt anything that even came close to LSD (or whatever I took, I forgot the exact name). LSD is not about joy, happiness, feeling good. 12 hours it's a hell of a long time when you cannot trust reality, and you can easily bad trip. LSD is about discovery. I was such a pragmatic person before! But I took some. It changed me. I have now learned to question reality - not the governement, society, etc... - but the very essence of reality. It made me understand, feel, realise, that they is more to reality and that the absence of proof is not the proof of the absence!
I don't believe in God, I don't believe in paradise, but now I believe in energy. Maybe even in a parallel world. I don't know. But I have to do it again, to question reality, to play with it again. It opened a door.

    You took way too much.

    Give it to me... :dizzy2:

Yeah, I felt the same way after first time with psychedelics. If you take more now, and I know you really want, you might get mentally addicted or destroy your mental health. Just don't. You won't feel such strong need after some time.

7 months after last one I still wish I could go back to this world one more time :)

well, if you took any sort of drug that would expel all of your serotonin and such, then you might be experiencing 'suicide monday'. which can last up to a week, dependent on each person and how much you took.

The MDMA and The ecstasy definitely did not help you with your emotional problems, but it will go away.

As for LSD, it is one of the most situation drugs one can use. Depending on who you are with/where your at/and ESPECIALLY how YOU feel. It will all amplify those feelings.

Thats why when new friends come to me and ask to try it, i make sure they dont have to many major issues going on in their life, they have a safe place and they are doing it (for a start) with only 1 or 2 other close friends.

Probably a combination, the over sensitivity sounds primarily a side effect of the ecstasy and the over analyzing sounds primarily a side effect of the acid if we are to attribute it to the drugs

Spread out your dosings more, to give your brain a chance to return to a relative homeostasis.
