First I measured my big part of my hips...then i measured from the floor to my waist...and then i decided i wanted the bottom to be 70 inches around... so i took my fabric and angled it from my small measurement to my large measurement..making it the length from my waist to the floor. then all i did was straight stich and serge the edges...and did a hem .. and a simple waist band w/ a strand of hemp as the tie... that's it! so simple...and i think it looks pretty cute..it's more of a summer skirt..but, eh ... doesn't hurt to get a head start...
haha i never thought to attach it (i didn't draw it though, i just found it one night and bookmarked it when i was looking for something else...)
Fucking awesome! That pattern is great too. That'll be sooo easy for me to start making skirts. I'm SOOO excited. Your brown halter inthe first pic is gorgeous, also, by the way. I just love you! hehe
It's good when you can take the time to make your own clothes. That's a narly piece. It fits you perfectly, you made it for you, looks great. I'd try making other skirts with it too.. try light yellow's and brown's, why not. peace&<3
