try it out sometime! i just recently started singing to my cats and they get really comfortable... it's funny, when my one cat sits on my lap and i sing to her, she just closes her eyes and starts purring. they LOVE it! :D

I sing to the rabbits, never had a very positive response though. Branwen just gives a haughty cat type stare and any loud noises (ie music) scare the bejesus out of Casey.

I wish my cats were like that...when I sing I usually get an evil glare then it's back to napping for them. :D

I've sang a capella to my dogs before and it's relaxed them. I usually do so while petting them. They have never really reacted when I've played guitar or keyboard in my room before, but my first dog used to tilt his head funny and bug out his eyes when I'd play the recorder badly, and my current dog just runs out of the room when I play the recorder... still badly, lol!

I know this is an old thread, but my cat Pascale adored being sung to! She used to come running to hear it, lol. She use to love listening to my neighbour play is guitar, too. My other cat, Melly, just looks at me as if I am mad.
