well there was this one book by april sinclair called COFFEE WILL MAKE YOU BLACK. i think it was wrote back in the 1990's, but the book takes place from 1965 to 1970. it's about a young black girl named stevie who grows up dealing with her sexuality.

another one is called A WALKING FIRE by valerie minor. because of something illegal that happened during the anti-vietnam war movement, 20 year old cora casey finds herself moving to canada. after twenty years in canada, cora finds herself moving back to the U.S. after news of her father's bad health. now i'm not going to spoil the plot for you, so i'm not gonna say anymore.

but that's all the books i've read from the 60's.

Little Miss Strange - Joanna Rose. About a little girl growing up in the 60's in a hippie community, I've read it about 10 times and have analyzed it for an essay in a literature class. Greaaaaaaat book.
