slc punk & anarchy cook book

i know there not that old but i like both of them and i was woundering if any of u have seen these films and if so what did u think about them i luved them when i first saw them and today even thought thre not that old i still like them alot so what do u guys think?¿?¿?

 

I think SLC Punk is a really good movie, one of my favorites. I bought the DVD after i saw it. Cant say anything about the other one, didnt see it.

 

yea i think over all slc punk is one of my favorite movies hands down the other one is really good to u should check it out some time

i have seen slc punk like 15 times and i love it love it love it. a while back i helped my friend memorize matthew lillard's rant to his parents for a monologue assignment for her theatre class. i had the whole thing down for a while, but that was like 5 years ago so i can't remember it anymore.

haven't seen the other movie.

 

Those are basically movies for people who want to be punk to watch so they can try to seem cooler by saying that they've seen them. Honestly, I thought SLC Punk was a horrid movie, The Anarchist's Cookbook wasn't as bad, but it still wasn't all that great.

 

LOL, there is some truth to this i think... i know this, cuz i used to watch this movie a lot a few years back in my punk phase. now im older i can look at myself a little more critically and honest i think... i watched it a while ago and didnt get much out of it,but its neat if your a kid in this crazy world of ours. drugs, mohawks, flipping off your parents, hell, maybe itll be a good influence and inspiration to some kids.

 

Very true, I wasn't really trying to diss on the movies too hard. They're pretty good movies, I just think of them as movies that people go out and rent and watch just so they can call themselves punk.

 

lol i was about to say even if slc punk is 1 of the movies u talk about to be cool heck its a really really good movie lol i dont consider me punk but its one of my fav movies

 

I will be completely honest and tell you I was really disappointed with SLC, it was bad because it tried way to hard in my opinion.. And Matthew Lilard totally ruined that movie, bad person to put in a movie like that...Again, I was really disappointed with it...

 

thats cool i see ur point but i still think its one of the best movies of my generation so far

 

just seen the anachist cookbook today it was awesome ! i might watchi it again tonight ...

i havn't seen the movie the anarchist cook book but iv read some of the actual book (if any one is framiluer with it) i use to know a kid who had it. and slc is one of my favorite movies, i think its really funny and has good points in it, like when the girl tell steve-o he looks like he is wearing a uniform. i also think it shows how alot of kids look at things when they are trying to figure stuff out.

 

SLC punk is one of my favorite movies. It shows one of the best acid trips i've ever seen in a movie. I guess there are a lot of people that try to be punk by watching it but I just like the movie mann..

 

SLC punk used to be more appealing to me, but it's grown old on me. I like to watch it when i'm in "stupid mode". i like anarchist cookbook. makes me laugh. i love when they work at the coffee place, lol. oh man.
