now sure some people might consider it cute or attractive for males to be a slut but when it comes to females, socialy it's very demoralizing, not that i am a slut (or a female) myself but i do know it is an easy way to insult a female (given that it is true) so what do you think? is 'slut' a dirty word?
Yeah sure it's conatations are more obvious then the 'virgin' thread but i am going somewhere with this, be sure to log in tomorrow i'll have a third and final thread on these subjects. In the mean time discuss, why is slut a dirts word? and why doesn't it have negative conatations in relation to males?

Sure this is true, but why do you think men aspire to be a 'DJ' or women resist being labeled a whore? these are all words, is the reality of either (i use the term loosley) 'occupation' any different? or is it merely societies perspective on the difference between males and females sexual roles?
