I think that would be a really really stupid way to lose weight... Try dieting

That's kind of funny. I'm a smoker, but I'm thinking about quitting so I can GAIN weight (along with saving my health of course). But yes...not exactly the healthiest way to lose weight.

i totally know its a stupid way to lose weight. but since everybody knows that smoking increases one's metabolism, we were just sort of doing a little survey of friends & such. i don't smoke; i'm straightedge. thanks for your input!

It's not the best way to lose weight of course, but I know smoking curbs your appetite, and I know once people quit they usually gain a little bit of weight because they eat instead of smoke.

i think most of the weightloss from smoking has to do with loss of appetite, not so much increased metabolism.

if i wanted to losse weight, id drink more coffee. it removes apetite and makes me burn a lot more energy.

a lot of diet pills are jsut caffiene anyway

i decided to take up smoking and quit eating to lose wait. Everytime i got hungry, i would simple smoke a packet of ciggerettes. Now i weigh 2.36 ounces, so it must work.
