You know..I smoked cigarettes for 3 years, then quit for 8 months, now I am smoking again. They suck. BUT....the only reason I started again is because I missed American Spirit cigarettes. Those are the only ones I can smoke. mmmm
Fuck that, man. It's all about the Cohibas, baby. Fucking embargo. Friggin expensive, they are, but if not, a Garcia y Vega suits me just fine.
i only smoke around certain people. currently...i smoke sometimes. i hate to smoke alot of ciggerettes...feel like crap. 3 times a day at most if at all but it is pretty nice
i cant quit it seems.. but the month long period of being able to breathe was nice still was coughing a lot..
I've never smoked a cigarette. :H My dad bribed my sister and I not to smoke growing up--he told us that he would give us $500 when we turned 18 if we didn't smoke up until then. And he payed up. I wonder what I blew the money on...
Oh yeah, smoking cigarettes is so cool. It's even cooler if you roll them yourself. After 20 years of rolling I am in demand for joint rolling at parties. Too cool. I am so glad my son is now one of us cool addicted persons at 18.
Yes American Spirits are pretty damn expensive if I say so myself. But I would rather smoke those than arsenic and chemicals so I am willing to spend the money. But I find I am losing my singing voice now that I smoke again. ARRGH DAMN CIGS!
I'm still running and singing and playing baseball.... no breathing problems yet. Maybe I'll stay lucky. I'm only smoking one or two a day if that.... they are relaxing. I bet it'd be awesome to smoke while reading.
They're actually not really that relaxing. Watch your hands right after you have a smoke. On top of the shakes I already had from my mother, cigarettes have intensified the trembling in my hands like you wouldn't believe. You know, when people tell me smoking's going to kill me, I usually just tell them that if it's not that, it'll be something else. But I'm starting to wonder if it's at all worth it. The only reason I've ever smoked in the first place is because I feel it's like in the contract as far as being a writer goes. I just know I don't want to get so old and decrepid that I can't even hold a pen on account of the tremors.
Ahaha, I started smoking cigars after hanging around re-enactments and bluegrass jams way too much. I'm always the youngest person there and old guys are always "you want a better cigar, sonny?" after they see me with rolling papers or a pack of nasty swishers or something. It really helps me meditate while jamming. I'm not addicted to it or anything--I don't inhale past the mouth, when it comes to tobacco. I'm not ruining my voice box. In fact, I haven't smoked in over a week. It's moreso that I'm addicted to the action of smoking.
My hands don't shake...ever. Like Leonardo Dicaprio in The Departed. I never noticed until I watched the movie, but I can't ever remember a time where my hands were shaking without me consciously shaking them. So....sorry
Leonardo DiCaprio is pretty sexy when he smokes a cig. But it's nothing like Johnny Depp or something. DiCaprio just seems a little more adventurous when he smokes a cig. Depp seems more relaxed and quirky. Though, I'm thinking of The Beach and Secret Window, when I'm comparing.
I agree....completely. I never thought I'd ever have a crush on an hunky Irish mobster with multiple Boston accents...but......I do
