I made this thread to discuss smoking Datura instead of eating it. I have so far read that the leaves (usually 3-4 leaves) are the best part to smoke, and can produce the best effects right away, although I have seen experience reports that smoke the flowers or the the seeds. Most seem to report a super datura stone that isn't as intense as eating it, but still very trippy. And that mixing it with weed makes it even more trippy.
I'd start with 1 leaf if that just to check for any unplesant allergies / reactions and slowly work up from there. Dont forget that the actual content of alkaloids in a leaf can vary greatly, from the same plant, you may pick 1 leaf that does nothing, you may find one leaf that sends you to the hospital. I'd also think it wise to micro-dose, take small portions of the planned amount each hour over a number of hours till you find yourself where you want to be. Grabbing 3-4 leaves and hoping for the best just sounds crazy IMHO, I mean 3 of the wrong leaves can kill you real dead.
I have never heard of this and have burned many leafs of this Plant, stems, flowers. And nothing. imo MYTH..... No more than a acidic smoke, not worth of deep inhalation. Try making a Smudge bowl full of it for intensity and effect. Maybe the Great Spirit will enjoy the smoke and give you blessings. But I doubt humans get high from the smoke.
I have had some success working with smoked brugmansia leaves... but no where near the entry into the land of the dead, just slightly dissociative.
Heres a question thats been dancing in my head since I accidentally stripped my smallest of 3 Wrightiis of its foliage. (Still blown away by the fact it just turned and said "F*c* you, I'm growing" and shot another leaf up. (3 in total now in about a week. ) Has anyone found there to be a maturity date for a Datura plant? I mean does it need to reach the flowering or seed setting stage before it's hit a worthwhile degree of potency or would the leaves of those I sowed the seeds for in early August be "ripe enough"? I mean I noticed "an effect" from the few small leaves I stripped the sprout of but so feeble as to not be sure if it was a placebo effect or not. The other two are growing rather well and I've been thinking I'm due for a journey. Opinions other than "Just dont do Datura" are welcome.
i just took four big hits of a leaf and i feel very distant somewhat like a dxm feeling very strange drug
anyone else here ever try this? sound interesting. I'd never eat the seeds or drink tea and get delerium but does smoking the plant really work and only give a mild effect?
i've been very interested in datura, and myherbiscrispy's comparing it to dex only peaked my interest. i want to smoke it and i also want to eat it(im into the crazy stuff lol). i'm mostly interested in smoking it,because of its milder effects. i've been trying to find a couple of herbs that come with with a buzz, find a couple that just smoke good, and make a jwh blend out of it. how well do you think datura will fit into that blend?
hi im zombie my friends told me about chewing, making tea or smoking brugmansia, and it actually gets you a hallucinogenic high i made tea last night and the high kicked in about 10 or 20 minutes later, i just feel like i had no muscles, my pupils were dilated, i felt SO drunk as if i couldnt even walk right, like i kept bumping into walls and shit, it was weird. by the way, i might do it again tonight but most likely shouldnt stick to weed from now on
