How would I go about smoking DMT? Would I use a weed pipe and apply the flame directly to the DMT or would I use a meth (glass dick, pilley) pipe and put the flame under the DMT and melt it down? Could I smoke DMT out of a lightbulb using a pen as if it was meth? The most details the better because I plan on having a gram of this shit pretty soon and have no clue how to smoke it.
if u never smoked it its very insane & i really didnt not enjoyit at all.. i had to actualy take a few seconds to look around & realize i was tripping like crazy but hadta go back to keepin my head from exploding..unless u have alotta experience with psychodelics i wouldnt recomend it..its not that fun anyway
I have used like five different phenethylamines and four different tryptamines, I have been using psychedelics pretty much on a weekly if not more basis for the past four years I am not worried that DMT will overpower me in ways that will fuck my life up for more than about half an hour. I just don't know what kind of pipe to use, I assume a meth style glass dick pipe or a lightbulb will do fine, reason I ask here is I don't feel like digging around erowid. They say a freebase air pipe on erowid anyways already looked but willa glass meth pipe (glass dick style) work and will a lightbulb and a hollowed out pen work? Besides if I wanted fun I would go with some phenethylamines, which I have many vendors or, what I want is spiritual experiences (which is why I selected DMT) and visuals. I have smoked over a gram of 5-meo-dmt and want something SORT OF like that but with visuals and I know for a fact DMT is what will give me the "high" I want. Could you please tell me how you went about smoking it in detail and what sort of pipe you used?
A meth pipe is how I prefer to smoke it, any way with indirect flame is fine. Remember to start small, Id suggest around 30mg for your first time

Wouldn't recomend the meth lightbulb thing. You won't be able to see it after 1 strong hit. Hot glass can be dangerous, if you drop it on yourself or nearby flamable objects.

DMT out of a bong isn't such a great idea. DMT is an alkaloid and disolves in water (THC is oil-based so it doesn't disolve at all into water), especially when it is heated.
AFAIK DMT freebase isn't very soluble in water. Or at all. Might not have even been filled with water, I wasn't there. Besides, most people given the chance to smoke deemster would smoke that shit out of an apple FFS.
You win, I thought you were smoking DMT HCl. Think of how Mimosa Hostilis (and others) are disolved into water. However, when extracting DMT from plant sources, people freebase it in a mixture of water and a non-polar solvent, so that it falls from the water (polar) and mixes in with the non-polar solvent. Freebases tend to be more corrosive and unstable; usually alkaloids are stored as a salt. I'm guessing this is the case for DMT (it is for most tryptamines I've seen online). It would be interesting for somebody to smoke a bong with a non-polar solvent in it.
