smoking out of a stone bowl?

I just made a bowl out of some sort of stone in school today but I have no idea whether or not smoking out of stone is same. I pretty sure it will be fine but I just figured I'd ask in case anyone knows otherwise.

 

I smoked out of a stone bowl once quite a while ago, it was basically exactly the same, though it was an odd feeling between your fingers, stone is normally the last thing you expect to feel when smoking.

I've got a stone bowl at home and, as far as I know, it's fine to smoke out of.

 

Find out what kind of material it is and check back in.

Stone bowls are a pain in the butt to clean, they clog easily. If your asking about whether or not to use it, that all depends on what you made it out of. There are certain things you probably don't want to inhale.

I don't know about you, but if I were to ever attempt to make a bowl in a high school class room; I would get busted. Something about drug paraphenalia and schools seems like a bad combination.

 

Before glass and this new age stoner technology I'm sure indians, and other natives made stone bowls. That and wood should be fine, both are pretty natural.

 

ahha yeah. I always feel stone(d) when I smoke.

I say go for it, yuou made it, at least try it out. If it sucks then at least there are no "what if" questions.

 

if its sandstone its no good. marble or any smooth felling cold stone should be good
you can buy em ive used one that we put in the freezer and it actualy cooled down the smoke it was cool

I've heard of stone pipes before, eh. People generally give them good reviews so long as they're made out of decent stone which won't splinter away, y'know?

 

Im not actually in the class, I just go there during a free period sometimes, so the teacher really doesn't pay attention to what im doing and sehs a hippy anyway
