So I've recently gotten into smoking pot. I bought a bubbler and have been doing it out of that, tried my friends bong, a couple joints, blunts, etc. What I saw in the bubbler though was, in addition to its use as a method for getting high, an easier way for smoking shisha when i dont want to set up the hookah. So I tried it with some shisha tobacco, but for some reason it comes out extremely hot. This is with the chamber full of water, using a regular bic lighter. The same exact setup with green gives nice smooth hits, but when i tried it with shisha it is hotter than smoking a cigarette or joint. It kills my throat. My only hope now is that I havent completely overlooked something and someone is going to reply to this post and im going to look like an idiot, but what could be a reason for this?
Its the hose that is missing so therefore its probably why the smoke is harsh. Try a bubbler with a longer stem if you have one.
shisha is meant to be smoked with a coal, not a direct flame. And why would you even smoke shisha with a bubbles? To try and get a tobacco buzz?
this will depend on what kind of bubbler you have, but maybe still try to use coals to light it. that might help make it not burn as hot/harsh. otherwise, a hookah may be one of the only other options. it´s not THAT much work to get it set-up, right? look in to getting a vaporizer. i doubt you´d be able to use shisha with one, but as far as ingesting tobacco, they´re a great way to go. i´ve never had tobacco through one, but i imagine it´d be a lot nicer than smoking it
