sneaky smokin in public

i just watched a grateful dead movie and in a scene, a guy was outside in line for tickets smokin a joint through a beer or soda can (i couldnt't tell). he made a hole on the side to stick the joint in and whenever he put his mouth on the can opening he took a puff. he tilted his head and everything and it looked like he was just sipping from his drink. i thought that was really cool. do u guys have any ways of smoking in public in a sneaky manner??????

 

I blazed outside one night with my friend while we were walking to the subway. I live in NY, so of course people were out, but it wasn't a problem. I just held the joint to my side when I wasn't smoking, and it looked like a cig from a distance. The problem is the flame ran out and we didn't have a lighter with us, so we asked a group of people for one. They saw the joint and one of them gave me chocolate in exchange for a hit.
Just be careful.

 

its true... joints are great for smoking in public all you need to do is do what scho did and disguise it as a cig. I went golfing in the summer with my friends and we just rolled two joints per person and smoked them in the middle of the course like it was nothin. Just have a joint per person because you can tell its weed if people are passin it around

 

If you openly do it in public, people often think its just a cigarrete. Usually, they would never suspect a pothead to just strait up smoke in front of people

 

and if worst comes to worst, you just eat the j

 

easy...get a ciggerete....take out the tabacco...and replace it with bud...

you should replace the filter with cardboard as well.


i usually dont hide my joint in public, people dont snitch on eachother lol as leastive never heard about it around here, unless on someones property. it does usually jsut seem like a cigarette, you just dont pass it if cops are around

 

It's the smell that really tips people off. Burning weed has a distinct smell. Delicious.

 

delicious is damn right. but dont replace a cigarette with weed for 2 reasons:
1. cigarette paper is fast burning so its a waste of weed
2. Ive heard from a couple of sources(my friends, nothing legit) that the filter on a cig takes the thc out of the smoke

i smoke in public every day, thats what i love about where i live. nobody says shit. but ya gotta be careful...once i was smoking a joint while walking to the store & i set it on top of the payphone like i do w/ my ciggarettes when i go in the store but when i came out like two seconds later it was stolen but yeah...i always smoke while walking home or waiting at a bus stop. also everyone around here smokes while theyre driving...just like a regular rotation.

 

I know of another way I read somewhere on the Interent. Get one of those big paper cups like from McDonalds or whatever. Now, make sure the straw isn't transparent. tape the joint, preferably with the cardboard so you know when you finished, to the straw... make a hole on the bottom of the cup and "drink" out of it. you can even pass it around and noone will know, but have a lit cig or something and pretend you're smoking that so the smoke coming out of your mouth won't look suspicious

 

Ya know i keep reading all the time about people using different methods to smoke in public. The traditional coke can or this macdonalds cup idea and i agree with what a couple of people have said here just smoke the damn joint. I mean seriously the people that get caught are the people that draw attention to themselves by trying to hide it, if you act natural, yes most people will assume its a cigarette. As for the smell? Well not alot you can do about that, but as i said act natural and people will assume its some sorta special tabbaco or something (you wouldn't believe how many times people have asked me that).

 

we take toilet paper tubes, put a dryer sheet on the end with a rubberband and blow the smoke through that...although it still looks bad witha group of people passing a cig around and turning their head while they blow the smoke..but o well

 

that mcdonalds cup thing is a good idea. and whoever was talking bout just putting weed in a cigarette, not a good idea. like the others said it filters out ALOT of thc so u shouldnt do that. also, i kno bats r good for like quick puffs, but can someone explain how they work??? ive seen them before but i have no clue how they work.

 

or just take out a bowl and puff..
