    How much did your most recent computer cost? And what year was it purchased in?

    $4000 for the pc and about $500 more for the 32"hd monitor. Close to another $1000 for all the plug in toys... Thomas superwheel, blue microphone, razor keyboard and mouse etc..etc... PC is a alienware w/ intel 930 @ 4.0ghz liquid cooled, 9gig of ram, 2 ssd drives, ati 5970...blah blah blah I went all out on this one. 2010. My last one was 2008... I build one every other year to stay current.

    This PC I am typing on I purchased (well, built from purchased parts mostly from Newegg) cost about $1,700.
