So...I only lasted one day without buying anything

I went into an antique store today and got a really cute nightstand that is in horrible condition. I also got a ceramic orange weird vase thing, that has a signiture at the bottom ans a really cool green bowl thing.
I will post pictures to follow. I will also post a picture of the inside of the lingerie chest. I am decorating the inside of the drawers now.
I am not dissapointed in myself for breaking my financial celibacy. I had some awesome finds today. I also dedcided financial celibacy is not for me. My name is Lynsey and I am a shopaholic.

 

besides food.. i can't remember the last time i went shopping.

last thing I bought was a dozen sugar spoons at a cooking supply store, I don't like normal spoons, but sugar spoons are perfect.

It's ok. I buy all kinds of stuff and then think what the hell did I just do. I need to save money. Celibacy in any form will not work. And it's very cool you're not a shopaholic. Kinda like I'm not a potaholic. My is Jack and I and I'm not. Ah well whatever. where the hell am I going with this. Buy whatever you want it's good for the soul. Thats why we have credit cards. I'm ok you're ok. Ok.

true...the nighstand was 5 bucks! It is going to be beautiful when I am done with it.

 

I have some wood projects I'm going to paint and stain when the boys go back to school.

It's great that you have a hobby and you are having fun with it.

What kinds of pieces are you going to stain?

 

I have a bunch of shelves and a couple shadow boxes to stain or paint. Not sure yet what I'm doing with what. I have to sand a couple pieces first.

We like to go to flea markets. That's where we get most of our pieces. We get them really cheap. I have shelves that cost $2.00. Love it!

When Bill and I first got married we bought a sign that I've painted over a couple times during the years. This last time I really put my heart into it and it came out awesome. I didn't think I had it in me.
