So, I was watching "Friends".......

......after I smoked a bowl, and it suddenly popped into my head that people never fart on TV. When I am hanging around my friends, there is always someone farting at one point or another.

So my question is, why don't television characters ever pass gas? Odd; Very odd, indeed. Don't ya think?

 

They think that farts are offensive i would guess. I think that people who are offended by farts are pussies

Still, a little gas expulsion would make the character seem more real; plus, it would be hella funny for a bunch of people on a TV show just sitting in a coffee shop and one of them suddenly lets one rip at a totally random moment.
