So i'm surrently drinking the Vicodin Extraction....

Did that Hydrocodone Exctraction Method last night,, i had 4 vicodins (5/500) let from a corneal abrasion i had a few months back but wasn't gonna deal w that bullshit acetamphian (sp?)- that shit is like commercials in between the great movie you are watching!

I hope i did it right,, i mean it seemed simple, grounded pills, put in cold water overnight, stirred, put in fridge, and dumped how pile of crap and then mixed my water with iced tea for taste and am now drinking- should I drink fast or slow and willl with do ANYTHING or was this a waste of my time??

 

Wow, in the words of Bernadette Peters in the Steve Martin Movie the Jerk," Jesus, this shit really works!" I mean nothing like an oxy experience, just like a pleasant benzo experience, but ive only drank half so far and am smoking pot with it- have not taken any valium today.
Any comments? Advice? Should I just down the rest ?

i did, its lovely soooooo mellow but not s drowsy as my valium, but not as stron as oxycodone ;(

Ya before i grew a monster tolerance and went on subs. I once used to do CWE's for fun. I remember one time i put like 6 or 7 in their and went to go get a massage after drinking the mix. I fell asleep during it and drooled through the little hole my face was planted in and onto her carpet. ooops. ha. Then i drove home and puked )) I rarely did them after that because it just started making me sick.

 

you just leave it in the fridge overnight with water n it separtes the good stuff stays in the water huh?

Not sure what your method is but CWE is the bomb when done correctly. Also for 4 pills you probably didn't need to do an extract but no harm no foul.
Kindof off topic but not completely irrelevant. Isnt there a piece of legislation going through that is going to limit all opioid/APAP combo pills to a maximum of 325mg APAP per pill. I heard about it awhile back but havnt kept track of it. I believe the reasoning behind the bill was that people who have to take things like vicoden or percocet as part of a long term pain management regimen were showing alarming rates of liver damage. And from the very medication helping them cope with ailments. Sheesh.
But anyway i think the plan is to change all the pills with 500 or more mg APAP down to 325. this ought to help curb all that liver damage.

another point was that people who go to the doctor for pain, have ALREADY taken over the counter pain relievers like acetaminophen, so it makes no sense to give them more of it!

 

I feel like we used to have a really good CWE stickied but idk what happened to it. luckily for you there are hundreds of sets of good instructions on how to do a CWE. just google: "hydrocodone cold water extraction" and you should easily find what your looking for.

 

only a retard needs a doctor to babysit their intake of APAP..

 

1.) Determine the dose you want to take of the opiate and set out the amount of pills needed to achieve that dose. For example: if I want to take 25 mg od hydrocodone, I would set out 5 5/500 Vicodins. On a flat, smooth surface, crush the pills into a very fine powder, anything flat and hard will work. Make sure you crush up any chunks of the pill you missed. Take your credit card or razor and push the powder into a pile.

2.) Take about 1/2 a cup of water warm to hot water and pour it into your bottle, jar, or whatever you're using. Make sure the water isn't too hot, if you can hold your finger in it, it's okay. Take your pile of powder and pour it into the container of water. Put a lid on and shake it up until you can't see the pile of powder in the water anymore. This should take around 5 mins.

3.) Take your bottle or jar and pour the liquid into the bowl as soon as you're done shaking. Put the bowl in your freezer (or fridge) and let it get really cold, but not to the point of freezing 42° F should be about right. When the temp. is right, or you can see stuff at the bottom of the bowl (about the same amount of powder you put in) you can take it out.

4.) Get a cup and out and put a piece of cheesecloth or a coffee filter on top. Hold the filter on and slowly pour the liquid through the filter and into the cup. Slow down if liquid gets close to running off the edge of the filter. Squeeze the last of the liquid out of the filter, being careful not to break it.

5.) Run it through another filter to get as much of the Bad Stuff out as you can, not really necessary since you've removed a good portion of the tylenol/Motrin out already. Mix wiht your fav beverage and drink!

I've done probably a dozen CWE's with Vicodin and Percocet. It's a good idea when taking large quantities of APA on a daily basis....

also one side note: if you end up with a relatively small amount of liquid, and it contains a good amount of hydro and/or oxy, you can always try plugging it. hell of a rush lol.

 

For some reason, I never liked Hydrocodone all that much. I think I find it too sedating or something. I love Tramadol, Buprenorphine (Suboxone/Subutex), and Oxycodone, all of which are known to be some of the least sedating of all of the opioids. I remember every time I tried a higher dose of Hydrocodone that I nodded out and felt groggy the whole rest of the day. I also got the itches really bad on HC which I never really got on Tram, Bupe, or Oxy.
